I read that story on the BBC news webpage and it was completely outrageous. A teacher had a teddy bear which the students would take home with them and write about what they did with it. They voted on what the bear's name should be and it was unanimously named Muhammad or Mohammad the former is the right spelling but the latter is more common. The teacher was arrested and held in custody for three days then sentenced to 2 weeks in jail and she was to be deported from Sudan where the incident took place. So it's okay for the Sudanese government to massacre thousands but it's not okay to name a teddy bear Muhammad. Great, extremist Islamist states make so much sense.

. Besides the teacher came from Britain therefore she was only there to help the Sudanese and she didn't even know it was offensive ( neither did the children seeing as how they named the bear ).

This is also about extremist Islamist governments in general. They burn the American flag and show hatred towards Christians and any other religion, and yet when we show Muhammad in a cartoon they can riot all they want because we " committed an act of outrageous blasphemy. "

This isn't a rant about Islam just a rant about its narrow-minded governments such as Iran and Sudan, and their brain-washed civilizations. Hope I didn't offend anyone. For one I'm tired of our rights being taken away. Showing Muhammad isn't rascism it's our freedom of the press.

Mohammad is a common name given to infants by their parents, so when kids see that and think of their teddy bears as their own babies, what do you think they might end up doing?

Muhammad is the name of the Islamic prophet. It is their leader. I can see why they would angry about it. Not sure why they arrest people but okay. And Mohammad and Muhammad are a HUGE difference.

Yes, but the teacher who wasn't Muslim had the kids vote and the teacher was thrown in jail because she allowed them to name the bear Muhammad.

Did you read what I wrote? I said I could see why they would be ANGRY not why they would throw them in jail. That is why I said I don't know why they would put them in jail. You know, do not, not I can see why. And the okay was sarcastic. As in but whatever, nothing we can do about it.

And if I named a bear Jesus I am sure people would be angry but no they wouldn't through me in jail. Just settle down, geeze.
