Sounds like an intriguing business plan. The kid would be famous and earn many millions because of it. He could use his notorious name to do work for charities or something. Or be famous for being famous. He could write a book about how horrible it is to have a name like that and you know it'd be a bestseller. He could sell his stuff on ebay and you know some douchebag will pay $$$ for his crap because it's Hitler's.

Reminds me of that bit in the movie Rat Race when the guy steals Hitler's car and gets beat up by bikers and burns his tongue and crashes through a WWII veterans event and starts gabbling like hitler and someone shoots at him.

I'm quite surprised that some people would actually think of doing this. If you knew anything about what he did, I'm sure you'd change your mind. If you already know what he did, you're sick and very selfish. So no, I wouldn't name my son adolf hitler for a million dollars. Hypothetically speaking, I'd be glad to kill someone who haunted their son with that name for a million dollars.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I would let them make their own decision. if they want to change their name to that, that's fine, but I sure as hell won't.

Theres tons of people who have the same name as people who've done horrible things. And you'd murder someone for naming their kid Adolf Hitler...GG...hope you spend that 1mill before you end up in prison...hypothetically speaking of course, because thats what this thread is, isn't it? Never said I didn't think that there are kids with the adolf hitler in their full name. I'm sure there are still some Germans that beleived in what hitler did, and named their son that. But I'm not really talking about germans here. The people in this thread that said they would (hypothetically speaking) are most likely not german. For someone who is american or canadian or whatever to name their son after a dictator that tried to take over Europe killing millions in the process (including torturing and killing about 6 million jewish people) is just plain wrong. Doing it for a million dollars is one of the most selfish things someone can do.
