My family have been living in our current house for about six years now and for some unholy and incomprehensible reason still get post and bills (bills of all things!) for the previous owner, his relatives and people we've never heard of before.

That's mightily impressive. You should send them letters back (if you can get the return address) asking for birthday ones as well, because if they've been sending you cards for that long you might as well get ones meant for you. It'd be great!

There is no valid reason to smoke. Seriously. It kills them, Earth, and most importantly, people around them. It smells so bad, your clothes will smell like shit after a night out because people have to spread their cancer around.

Thing that annoys me beyond belief and has the entire college campus up in arms (in a very British way: we moan) is that the heating likes to fail. As in, on Monday when it was about 1 degrees Celcius, the boiler cut out. Why, you ask? The college corporation did not think to change how much oil they needed to add when the attached another building to the heating system. So not only is the boiler old, and the heating system unrealiable parts-wise, it can fail at any moment if they decided to do more cost cutting (this is due to the fact that we are funded by the government, but are run independtly as a corporation). Of course, the heating system will never get replaced because in a couple years (probably) this entire building will be destroyed and rebuilt elsewhere.

It's oh so very fun freezing while indoors.

I grew up with both my parents smoking, and they still do to this day. My mom started when she was like 9 and my dad started in high school. I don't get why kids think it's cool to shoot up rocket fuel and rat poison.
