Never kicked from a guild, but I've only been in two. Three if you count my very first day of GW, when I was with a group of my friend's acquaintances from FFXI.

Current guild has two people in it.

i haven't been kicked, but some guy was cybering with another (male) officer in whisper. One officer forgot to click "whisper" when he was typing and sent the WHOLE alliance one of the most intensive statements.

It is too inappropriate to repeat; there are 13 year olds on this forum!

Was kicked from one guild once for challenging the opinion of our Alliance Leader. I accused her of being to much like Hitler and having to much restrictions on everyone. Isnt that ironic...

have been playing with same people pretty much since the end of 2005 so even though ive been in different guilds its been pretty much the same people

I have been kicked for calling someone stupid because he didn't know how to change his resolution on his monitor. Saying myspace was gay. Others were for breaking rules I think.

i was kicked a couple times for inactivity and once i was chosed at random during one of the guild leaders kicking sprees. i got invited back the next day.

i was going with this HA guild for a few months then one night i got pissed and left they found a new person and the kids voice was so annoying i came back(my friend was playing on vent in the same room and guild)

We made a 10k bet. The rules were, no fire ele's, no sword warriors and no mesmers with domination magic. He was sure he was going to win. So he showed me his hero's build.

I tried soooooo hard not to type lolololololx100000 into the computer. I had to sit on my fingers not typing it. So we fought the 10k bet.

I beat my guild leader in a 8vs8 scrimmage (Heroes+henchmen). I had 3 hero's where Lightning spiker's and I was a monk.
He said, "That's unfair!!! I said no fire ele's!"
"lol, they were lightning spike, not a single fire spell."
"Liar! They did 140 damage on me!"
"Yes, lightning spells can do that..."
"I'm not paying a cent!"
"But we gave our word!"

Kicked me and added me to ignore list. Came back one hour later as a different character. We made the same bet, kick his noob butt and he said.
"Sorry, I don't have the money."
"I know, I fought you a hour ago."
"So your -insert name here-"
"lol, yes."
Kicked me, then called me a jerk and racist words not suitable for most ages.

Once again. A day later, I came back to the guild as a different character. Then in two hours I became a officer (bribed with a purple chaos axe). Guild leader was offline. I kicked everyone and the officer just watched.
Officer - "Why the ---- are you doing this?!"
Me - "The guild leader owes me 20k."
Officer - "WT-, why does he owe you?"
Me - "He lost a 10k bet, twice. In a scrimmage."
Officer - "WT-, your lying, he never loses!"
Me - "His monk had [card]fire storm[/card] and [card]Glyph of Sacrifice[/card] in his hero monk.
Officer - "Yeah, a all heal sucks. Everyone knows that. The reason why henchmen monks suck"

Once it was him and the guild leader left. I changed the announcement to "You owe me 20k." To minutes later, he was on. He called me a bunch of racist words and I was recording and happily watched. He never said a single word about the bet. Just a bunch of bad words. I reported him on the website (before the report update) and he was never online again.

Sure that was mean.
-But I hate it when people don't kept their bets when they gave their word.
-He really did give his word, he typed it, but didn't keep it.
-He was mean and hates losing beyond reason.
-He had no reason to call me bad words for something he did.
-Made a deal he couldn't have kept.
-If you can't lead people, then don't lead a guild.

I've never been kicked. I was an officer for a long time in my previous guild. I suppose I could have been kicked from one or the other of the guilds I have been in for absence, as I have had long-ish retirement bouts on a couple occasions, but both guilds never kicked on those grounds.

I'm surprised at some of the reasons for kicks I read. We kicked for instigating excessive drama, and we had a spell of that on two or three occasions. Also for arguing, but it had to be pretty offensive to another member.

We do not kick for any unjust reason, I find out from both sides what happened (interigate seperatly so they dont bicker) then gather up the majority of the officers and explain the situation to them and we all vote on what to do. If we think we can resolve without a kick we try that if that does not work then we gather the people in question up in 1 vent channel and try to work out the problem if that does not work then a kick happens.
