All of the Half-Life 1 Series, still love it.
Age of Empires (1 and 2)
Max Payne (1 and 2)
Just to name a few, those are always classics for me. And I just loaded up GTA-3 today, holy cow is that old.

Smash TV and Mortal Kombat 2 (SNES)
Age of Empires 2, Warcraft 3, Ghost Recon (PC)
Final Fantasy 7, 8, Resident Evil 1, 2 (PS1)
They just don't make games like they used to anymore. Everything back then had so much work and dedication put in it. Now everything's so much more "gamelike" now, non-dynamic, beat it in 8 hours, hardly any plot. Why don't they just bring back Pong, put in blood and gore, give it matrix physics, and Gears of War's graphics?

rise from your grave!
sorry couldn't resist, if anyone gets the chance to find / download any of the following you won't be sorry since they're still the most fun i've had with the medium..
system shock 2
planescape: torment
quest for glory
thief (such great cutscenes..)
and i seem to install master of orion 2 and x-com every couple of years so they must be fun.
edit: and solidarity to those fallout fans out there rock on.
