1) Metallica is overrated. The only exceptional member of that band was burton. RIP. Hammet is a mediocre guitarist with no real skill. their first albums may have been good, but compare that to bands that have made 20 amazing albums, but still, less popular than metallica.

2) Dragonforce does suck, and that is the reason they are overrated..not sure why people are quoting me and telling me they suck; I know.

3) I am well aware of led zeppelins contribution to the metal genre, but that does not mean that Led Zep is in fact, a metal band themselves.

Most underrated band, imo, is either Bang Camero or Coheed and Cambria. C&C's song Welcome Home is like sex for my ears (tyvm, Rock Band, for introducing us)

Actually name a metal band that has produced 20+ albums. Sabbath have been going for centuries and they haven't even produced that many.

Producing 20+ decent albums would be one of the great wonders of the world. No band/artist has ever created so many "great" albums.

Metallica for example -

Good - The black album
Not so good - St Anger

Sabbath keep releasing utter garbage. Pantera have released some extremely average albums too.

1. Name one band (metal or not) that have produced 5 albums in a row that has no weak tracks and are thoroughly well thought through if you can!? (Kill'Em All, Ride the Lightning, Masters of Puppets, And Justice for All and the Black Album)
To my mind Metallica are just getting old and they are no longer putting in the time or effort they used to when producing an album. This doesn't mean they shouldn't be respected for their massive possitive contributions to the genre! over more than 2 decades!
I would just a soon call Beatles overrated as I would Metallica - which would be never!

2. Why are we still talking about these geezers?

Zeppelin clearly belongs to the later category! Since metal is clearly a "child" of rock I don't hesitate to mention them in the same breath!
