I like the show, but this week's episode totally confused me, and led to many WTF moments (If you haven't seen this week's episode, and want to, stop reading)

WTF moment #1: In the flashbacks (or flashforwards) we learn that in 2015 John and Kyle (who we believe to be is his father) escaped from prison together. In 2020 John sends Kyle on a mission (the mission of saving and protecting (and impregnating) Sara... this was Terminator 1). So if John and Kyle existed in 2015 before this mission of going back in time to impregnating Sara, how is it possible that John even exists? This leads to the suggestion that Kyle is not John's father. To show some support for this theory, I go to another wtf moment...

WTF moment #2: John was born in the 1980s, so in 2020 he was in his late 30s. When Kyle goes back in time for the mission that was Terminator 1 he was clearly in his late 30s early 40s. So John and Kyle are the same age?

Unless I can assume that all their time travels greatly through off the paradox of time, this show now makes no sense
