I have been trying to find that and edit my post for weeks now, thanks for bringing it up. According to all sources I've come across, that is the one, only and true Cloverfield monster in the film.

It doesn't open its mouth when it kills Hud.
As for the clawed arm? The hook is the elbow joint. The hand that's grabs the chopper? Clawed. If you look you'll notice two sets of arms, two sets of hands, and it's main set it walks with his fists closed, much like a gorilla. It also appears they didn't put the same detailing into the hands, suggesting it's not a finished piece of concept art. (Keyword also being, 'concept art.') Claws could have been added, are clearly visible when he grabs the chopper. (Also, it's very ape like, it's very plausible it can use its feet like hands, which even in this picture, are clawed.)
I know no one wants to hear it, but, any differences in size, shape, speed, or movement of the creature have to be chalked up to bad continuity. *gasp*

If anything showing the two side by side like he does proves they do both infact have the orange blobs.
We also know it's meant as a deep sea creature, who are known to change colours when feeling threatened or angry or even during mating.
Fewer teeth? again its mouth is open in this scene where it's not when it kills Hud. And we also know from both the toy, the screencaps, and the concept art this thing has a serious udnerbite where it's teeth interlock, and are visible on the outside of it's mouth. Appearing like there are more teeth, because both sets are interlocked like a zipper. (Make sense yet? look at its head with the mouth closing and opening in slow mo, the shape of the skulls match up.)
The 'wrinkles' bit of evidence is cute, I'm not going to even bother with my thoughts on that. (He does, however like to compare open mouthes to closed ones.)
The most clear point of evidence to the single monster case is the quote they always use from JJ Abrams; And leave out the part form Neville Page who designed the monster (singular in all references, not plural.)
Quote:
The creature, nicknamed 'Clover' during production, [7] was designed by artist Neville Page. He sought a biological rationale for the creature, though many of his ideas would not show up on screen. Page designed the creature as immature and suffering from "separation anxiety". He compared the creature to a rampaging elephant, saying "there's nothing scarier than something huge that's spooked".[8] Page said of the creature's backstory, "For me, one of the most key moments in our collective brainstorming was the choice to make the creature be something that we would empathize with. It is not out there, just killing. It is confused, lost, scared. It's a newborn. Having this be a story point (one that the audience does not know), it allowed for some purposeful choices about its anatomy, movement and, yes, motivations.

key phrases, 'separation anxiety,' 'lost,' 'scared.'
Would it be feeling separated, lost, and scared while on a city wide romp with mom and dad or one of the two? Honestly.
Back to the video;
Pause at 4;45. You can see that the teeth are interlocked. This is the clearest shot of it which backs up my open//closed mouth theory.
(And if you actually look at the link to the Toy on the habsro site, it comes with 2 alternate heads for the SAME creature and shows pictures of both on the monster. They're the same head in different poses. Mouth open, mouth closed.)
A better arguement would have been the different shapes in the 'skull' but, even at a glance, we all notice that those pulsating orange growths on the sides of the head are what cause that.
Good video though, I kind've want to get my own clearer screencaps to draw all over myself.

It's true. $100 for any toy is a rip off, a Hasbro one is a crime against God.
