About five minutes later, officers aboard a police helicopter spotted a pickup matching the description of the getaway vehicle and tailed the truck as the man drove to a Japanese restaurant on Kearny Villa Road, Hassen said.

Officers arrested Fiel at the eatery, which is owned by his family, a short time later.

Officers recovered the stolen property -- including the fourth installment of the popular "Grand Theft Auto" game, released at midnight -- and returned it to the store, Hassen said.

Well he stole the game. I'm still waiting to read in the paper about the first teen on a GTA type rampage....won't be long.

Its not really blaming GTA.

Besides theres probably worse to come for GTA. I give it a week.

Hell there ready to blame GTA if Iron Man doesnt get a great amount of viewings.

In london bunch of people waiting in a queue at midnight for the game. two of em got into an argument and one stabbed the other twice in the head. the stab victim managed to get home after being stabbed twice, grab his own knife and started making his way back to the queue to kill the dude who stabbed him. The game hadnt even been released

i just walked into a shop and bought one oof the last copies, wasnt that hard ^^

Heh...hindsight is great but not in cases of bringing a knife to a gunfight

It mentions GTA IV only because of the publicity hate going on; yet, they failed to mention any name of the other "several video games" he stole... I wonder if GTA IV wasn't amongst the titles, would this even have made the news?
