Your first game.
Hey there everyone, was just wondering what was the game that made you start playing games, that got you hooked?
Mine was Red Alert Command and Conquer for PC. I ended up borrowing it off my friend. He had it for Christmas. I then kept it and couldn't stop playing it. That was a truely awesome game.

lol It was the original RTS C&C... I loved the series all the way through Renegade. the FPS version of the franchise. Other then that. Starcraft all the way... Trust me if there ended up being a Worlds of Starcraft... that would be a HUGE draw for many players. lol Least triple that of WoW even when it was at its PEEK.

Starcraft was and still is amazing. I remember my freinds bringing it into to school and telling me how good it was. So eventually I got it and I was hooked. Such a well made game, for the time. I still play it from time to time. Yeah I've always thought they should expand the starcraft franchise. I've always wanted to play with hero units in that universe.

Did megaman allow you to play only one character or many each with specific abilities?

Exactly!! The Avalon Hill series of games. "Gettysburg" was and still is a Classic. Real hard to find enough people to play or have the time to play those oldies but goodies.
One of my favorite old computer games is "Red Storm Rising" on my Commodore 64. I played that all night chasing down Russian subs and surface ships with that sub simulation game.

Masters of the Universe on my Intellivision.
The first game that actually got me hooked on games was Dragon Warrior on the NES.
I played all four of those that were released in the US. Dragon Warrior IV was way ahead of its time. I always try to sneak that in. :P
