Mind posting the specs of your system? Just curious.

I don't usually give out brand names, because I'm cheap that way.

Sorry as a principle I avoid all games through Electronic Arts. I don't care how good the game is, I can't stand Electronic Arts. They have ruined more games than it is worth going through the list. Therefore I'm fully 100% prejudice against them.

Could anyone tell me what happens if you die in AoC?
If it's anything like WoW's spirit form thing there's no way I'm getting this game.

No it doesn't. 3 is just recommended.

I haven't got EA so i'll let those eager beavers tell you what happens. All i know is that there is no harsh death penalty (such as looting), which would explain alot of gankers - they have nothing to lose.

Aww I did hear casters were weak on the forums pre-EA, but i was rolling a barb anyway

GUYS I'M HAVING A VISION
In one week from now people will start complaining on the AoC forums about how difficult the game is to complete because they die so easily. After a few posts it turns out they have all made female characters and runs around without armor and refuse to put it back on because, well.... TITS

You respawn at the nearest graveyeard/respawn point with a death penalty(basically lower your stats). You can remove the death penalty by going back to the place where you died and clicking on your tombstone.

Penalties for getting yourself kill is harsher on the pvp side as far as I know, and thx to man upstair for the no item decay.

You can find the price of both the normal edition and CE on the website, along with what they contain. Can people stop being lazy?

Someone on AOC forum mentioned that the game has a few problem with amd chip. I'm using the 64 X2, havnt' run into any major issue yet, although the game did close itself a couple of times but no blue screen or anyhting.
Most of you guys are using intel chip, right?

Good luck finding the CE.
My character screen is still bugged. Every time I log in I have to reset the graphics options, otherwise all I see is a waving flag.

I think there already are people whining about it, mainly carebears who got killed by a higher level and decided to cry about it

I'd appreciate it if anyone from EU could spare a buddy key for me(when you are able to retrieve it). I have a US early access account, but I'm considering switching to the EU version of the game because it suits my schedule perfectly. So I'd like to see the latency I get on EU servers before buying the game again.
