Ever heard of Bioware? They're the dev team that made Baldur's Gate I & II, Jade Empire etc etc. They're the most regarded dev team within the RPG genre. Mass Effect is coming to PC May 29th and as you've already guessed was made by Bioware. But hey don't let me tease you with just that.

But Mass Effect is old news now its been out on the 360 since 2007, if you wanna really look forward to something. I suggest doing some research on Fall out 3.

I have no Idea how I missed it o.O

I also never played fall out, but I heard about it after Bethesda anounced fall out 3. I think the only non traditional RPG I was ever interested in was Deux Ex.

Is mass effect already released then?

For 360, its coming to PC in a week or two. Mass Effect got 80 something awards, most of which were RPG of the year.

Bioware and Valve are hands down the best development studios today. Bioware's MMO is the first one that can really claim the title of 'next gen' when it comes in (in 2 odd years)

Also, as it offcial forums, a forum ban will most likely mean a game ban too.

I can't comment on the view, I haven't played yet. I screwed up deleting a partition, so I ended up formatting my drive.

Don't know I'm afraid, I'm on a PVE server. But if you spawn near enemies they will start on you straight away.

Malice is right, give it time and they'll prob be as flame-riddled as they were before the early access. In fact, seeing as all the servers are down for two hours now I'm expecting them to kick off nicely soon.

In any kind of official forums, it really depends on how strict the moderators are. Your forum username is tied to your account, so if the threat of an account ban exists, people won't screw around too much.

Nah, dont forget that the pre release forums were public forums and everyone was able to post on them.

Now it is just people with a subscription. I doubt they will get as bad as they were before, or as bad a guru lol.

The forums are in great shape and the Mods are keeping busy. I've seen plenty of flamers and trolls killed right away.

Most people are really enjoying this game already, for me it was flawless on launch, 100% smooth with no crashes at all (except for my graphics card failing lol), and I am thoroughly impressed by how smoothly the game runs.

Two annoying problems that I have had though are:

1) During dialogue with quest givers, the game locks up and the dialogue stops and doesnt progress. I can exit the dialogue and move aroundm but I cant leave the are I am in or open dialogue with anyone untill for a while untill it starts working again.

2) Lag spikes - I'm playing completely fine with my ping between 80-200 ms. Then all of sudden, LAAAAAAAGGGGGG!!! - my ping creeps up to 9000 ms, and then back down. I thought it was my internet first, but I ran a speedtest while the game was running and I still got 600 kbps of bandwidth left over on top of the game running.

There were other people on the forums having lag issues too, hopefully the current maintenance is working on this.

As for server choice, for a solo player like me, PVP servers are a no - no
