Hmmm, I remember when people like me wouldn't confuse Savannah Heat for Firestorm because it didn't exist.

-When we only had "candy cane" candy canes.
-When Ettin farming was profitable.
-When sup vigors were worth about double their current price.
-When everybody was mature. So many times during Wintersday '05, I'd gather with others in the Ascalon Arena which was also decorated, and we'd start a holiday band under the stairway...
-When Griffon farming was profitable.
-Deldrimor, Amnoon, and D'Alessio arenas.

Superior Absorptions were actually useful and cost 90k.
You had a limited number of times to change your attribute points and had to gain 250(?) xp for each point. I don't remember what these were called.

- When I found out that some of my characters missed 30 attribute points, after they completed their campaigns.
- When my blue firestaff with +29HP was imba.
- When completing a campaign was one of the biggest things you could do. I thought that I had to do all side quests as well to get there. Now I just enjoy doing them anyway.
- When getting my first elite set (Kurzick) was a hard thing to do.
- When I don't cheat myself by looking things up on the wiki.

- When the best weapon I could buy at the time was the candy cane weapons. *doh*
- When Minion Masters had a crap load of bone horrors/fiends and I saw one my mouth dropped.
- When being able to run from Ascalon to Lions Arch as a R/Mo meant you were close to being a god.
- When running made you good money.
- When UW and FoW runs made you seems LEET.
- When no one spammed for you to ping your build, then criticized you for having on your build.
- When people were seriously age 13+, like GW is rated.
- When I got ascended and felt like I just won the lottery.
- When almost no one had an elite skill.
- When I capped my first elite skill >>Melandru's Resilience<< and felt so amazing, even though it helped me in no shape/size/form.
- When monks were HIGHLY appreciated and no one complained if there was a death or two.
- When no one knew what to do in PUGs
- When I got my first gold and JUMPED outta my seat.
- When duel-running to droks was the way to do it.
oooh, goooood times. I wish they would come back.
Maybe thats how it will be in GW2? a whole new game, just same story and same classes. EXTREMELY different skills/items. We can all hope?

- When you didnt gained blathazar faction
- When you only gained 2 balt faction each kill
- Playing your first GvG vs korea or something and they using chain lightning
- No observer mode!
- Making your own builds instead of copying
- Droks arena...
- On fire island with no infused armor
- Being a wammo with heeling seed
- Found out in droks arena you only needed essence bond, balt spirit, devine boon, life attunement, blessed signet, reversal of fortune, mend ailment and aura of faith to absolutely own there and get over 100 wins was normal
- Facing IWAY in ToPK was a pain in the ass but still it was funny
- Not facing the exact 2 teams like now since oberver mode came out
- When there was no dye trader, rune trader etc
