I really do want to see more of MAG, though it would be nice to have a better title. I told my friend the name of the game and they almost died laughing and said the title killed any and all coolness of it. And we're worried about how it'll all work out with no lag. =/

Yeah the lag seemed a problem to me as well. I know the PS3s hardware is like an effing super computer but there is very noticable 1/2 second delay in CoD4 for me (may not sound like alot but is very annoying to jujst jump behind cover to see the bullets still hit you, exc) and that is a tops of 18 people.

CoD 4 on Xbox live with 18 players, the gaming is relatively smooth. (not trying to start anything) It gets laggy some times, but that's usually host problems, when a new and better host is chosen, the game is pretty smooth. So I don't think think CoD 4 on PS3 will lag, since I basically never lag on CoD 4 except for host problems. Check internet maybe, and the host is probably a bad one.
256 player on the otherhand, lag free? ORLY, curious to see how that one will turn out.

I thought the Resident Evil 5 stuff I saw was really interesting.
I figured RE was headed to the graveyard when I first played RE Code Veronica.
Glad they chose to revamp the series from then on.

The only two that really catch my interest are Starcraft II & Resident Evil 5.
I'm still hoping for a surprise Zelda trailer, though.
Wind Waker - Early 2003
Twilight Princess - Late 2006
Surely we can expect some sort of announcement for their next console game soon?

because companies don't want to take the risks of making an original game much anymore.
I wouldn't blame them, who wants to gamble 20,000,000$ on the 95% chance that you're not going to make it back?
(And yes, that's the actual % chance that you won't make a sizeable profit from releasing a game in the game industry. 95%.)

Cell based IBM Bladeservers, which Sony has heavily invested in. They can do it just fine. <3 Cell.
I must say, the MSFT conference (I ended up watching it) was pretty good. No huge surprised other than FF13.
However, Sony was about the same. Nothing really huge that we didn't already see coming or expect except PSP Resistance (which looked great). FF13 Versus is still PS3 exclusive, and Sony will still have the edge there because Japanese gamers like the PS3 more than the 360, so they are not going to rush out to buy a 360 for an inferior version (port) of the game.
All things considered, I say it was a tie between MSFT and Sony. I am looking forward to Gears 2 on the 360 (actually on PC, but you get the idea), as well as Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 (Killzone 2 the most) I also am looking forward to Little Big Planet even more now.
By the way... I have to give Sony a slight lead, due to that cute LBP presentation they did, using an actuall level instead of a Powerpoint. That was genius and hilarious!
And then there was Nintendo.... moving on.
So yeh, Sony>=MSFT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Sega>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Nintendo. I think you get it.

Mirror's Edge looks cool, I agree. Conduit might be hit or miss. Mad World? I must have missed that one. That is a song by Tears for Fears last I checked. Linkage?

I agree with your thoughts on The Conduit, it'll either be great or garbage. They already announced online multiplayer and hinted at wii speak compatibility, the team also boasts to bring the best FPS/graphical experience on wii. That's quite ambitious however seeing as Metroid 3 is already a close contender, and CoD: World at War is coming out on every platform.
As for MadWorld (one word actually), I'll just have to say it'll probably make me forgive Nintendo for ditching Project: H.A.M.M.E.R. which could've been amazing. Don't get me wrong though, MadWorld isn't a first party title but its being developed by an all star third party dev team, known as Clover Studios. These guys have put out great titles such as viewtiful joe, okami, and god hand. Within the team are also devs who worked on Resident Evil 4 and Devil May Cry.
http://www.gametrailers.com/game/6774.html <-- Linkage to all known videos of MadWorld.
http://wii.ign.com/articles/874/874210p1.html <--- Preview ala IGN of MadWorld.
Mad World also happens to be a song composed by Gary Jules, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N3N1MlvVc4 it was in the sound track of Donnie Darko. (excellent sci-fi movie)
To side track even further I would highly recommend looking into Project H.A.M.M.E.R. a bit, it was apparently declared canceled, yet a Nintendo exec confirmed they are still working on it. Really did bug me though seeing as it could have been Nintendo's first new franchise in a while. As you can see in this link, it was anticipated to be released a while back, but went "dead". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SC-AJ...eature=related and this second link has some more game play. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJPhD...eature=related
Some more gossip for fodder too, Miyamoto is quoted for saying that he originally intended Ocarina of Time for the N64 to be a first person experience. Paired with Nintendo's statement saying that Twilight Princess would be the last Zelda of it's kind, plus that new motion+ for wii remotes that allows for detecting wrist movement... Does provoke the mind to think a bit, especially after watching the sword fighting in the Wii: Sports Resort, that may very well be a prototype of the sword fighting mechanics in the next Zelda.
