Any good martial arts anime?
Hey guys!
I finished watching grappler baki (also following the manga just recently decided to see the anime).
The manga is ridiculously advanced to a point where its nearing the end and was wondering if they were going to continue the anime? If not are there any other similar anime out there?

Probably not really "martial arts" and you've most likely heard of it(only like one of the most well-known anime's). I was thinking about Naruto, but that's probably not what you're looking for ^_^

I wouldn't say they counted toward the category of 'marital arts' anime, more like popular sword/magic hacking stuffs.
I remember enjoying Flame Of Rekka (I think it was), rather old, a tad strange in places, but fun none-the-less. Then again that's exagerrated ninjutsu/magics rather than simple swords and sneaking.

That is a really old anime. I seriously doubt that they are making any additional anime episodes beyond its initial run.
Kenichi-World's Strongest Disciple and Tenjou Tenge would be two martial arts animes worth looking into. Kenichi is also a long running manga, if you're interested.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I don’t watch naruto because the anime is a joke, though I do read the manga same with bleach anime is a joke too.
Ninja scroll is a classic one of my favs, I have seen kenichi and i am up to date with the manga also (it followed the same fate as baki since the manga is way ahead and they stopped the anime yet they continue to make one piece?! What's the world coming too!).
Ill look into flame of recca...sounds interesting, oh and I’ve also seen tenjou lol told you I’m an anime freak probably not many left for me to watch ah well!
Btw if nobody has seen it I recommend you watch 'hajime no ippo' or 'fighting spirit' its one of the best anime I’ve seen 'based on boxing'.

I was hesitant to mention that one, given the length of that series, both in the anime and manga. Its not something to just casually jump into. There's a second series of it coming out some time next year, if you didn't know.
There's also Ikkitousen and its sequels. The fighting is sorta good, once you ignore its more, umm, adult drawing styles.

Try Fist Of The North Star.
I would also like to say Samurai X (Rurouni Kenshin), the OVA's of which are up there with the great masterpieces of Akira and Ghost in the Shell, but I don't know if you would call it martial arts....
