So I'm assuming what you mean is, you had some really nice stuff that was valuable in Pre Searing, but crap in Post. Then you took it to Post and it lost value.
Amirite?

Yeah, I there was some confusion and then war that was storage that I changed to a different account to a monk - the storage guy was holding some things very valuable in pre got ran to post.
So my sword.. that I am supposed to sell to a friend tonight is gone. I discounted the sword to 100K for him. I paid 120 for it in January so that I could kill the thing better. I was using to kill lvl 20 charr after the lengthy dling secessions.
I managed to find a plane Jane 12-16 damge short sword with 13^50 on it. so I bought it for 90K on monday night. That is when my war wanted to be run to post on my second account. I qave the war my 11-15 17% vrs Charr sundering 20/18 for easy killing as it only needs 4 in strength to make it work good. then poof gone to post.
Oh 12-16 is MAX. There was a short sword here for sale a couple of months ago in the high end. It was 12-16 sundering 20/18 14^50 18% vrs charr. Asking price, 225,000 gold. I think that it sold too.
So mine will eventually be Sundering 20/18 12-16 13^50 18% and worth 200K when I am finished modding it.

How in the world do people make 100k in Pre anyway? You must love self-imposed grind :P At least you're no longer stuck in the past I guess.

At least it's only pre. So it doesn't mean anything, plus the item was only 100k.

How can someone pay 120K for something if a character can only carry 100K on his/her self? That doesn't make any sense. And what "storage guy"? That got me confused. o_o;

Black dyes = the ektoes of Pre. Perma-Pre players also use minipets, special drops (IE, grog, sweets, fireworks) and white dyes as high-end bartering items.
My guess is anyone whose farmed Pre long enough to collect 100k has accumulated at least a few black dyes and probably a ton of Hunter's Ales too. My condolences on your lost items, it sure hurts when a pricey item in Pre turns to merch-bait in Post

My condolences. Shooting yourself in the foot is never a good feeling. It's like scamming yourself.
Well, you should be able to retrieve 1% from the merchant. Or you can leave it in storage as a reminder to double check and never rush unchangeable actions.
And now you will have to mod the new sword and sell it to your friend for 100k because you promised him/her a sword.

i always preferred the bonus items in pre...doesn't the glacial blade work better than a non-max sword?
req 9 should be reachable past lvl 12 with room for tactics still
