The ODST MJOLNIR Armor in Halo 3 was put in the game due to fan popularity of the ODST.

So wouldn't it make sense to make an ODST Game?

Now I'm not just throwing wild guesses here, if you've seen Bungie's "Keep It Clean" trailer, you'd notice two things...

1) Pods that could possibly be ODST Drop Pods.

2) Even more compelling evidence is the "Prepare To Drop" that appears on the screen for a few seconds.

I think an ODST Game would be quite likely. Think about a squad based Halo. Squad members with their own unique personalities. This has potential!

Another interesting thing I saw in the video is the phrase "MADDIE, WHERE ARE YOU?" as well as "FLOOD ZONE"

WTF is Maddie?

Maybe a return of the flood? Or are we playing the ODSTs during the Halo 1,2 and 3 time period?

So, what do you guys think?

I think they couldn't have made it ambiguous enough, honestly. I'm hyped, mainly since Bungie has never failed to deliver (save for Halo 3 campaign...but who plays sp anymore these days ;p)

yes its been pretty well figured out by now it's ODST's during the 1st and 2nd Battles for Earth vs the Covenant at New Mombasa, to be released 1/6/09 (date is in a bunch of numbers in the trailer: http://www.blogsmithmedia.com/www.jo...reveal-490.jpg)
