Welp if you only used it for 5 minutes, you probably didn't even bother to restart your PC to take full advantage of its speed.
If you can't tell how it's faster than FF and you restarted, then IDK what to tell you. It's consistently twice as fast as FF on all sites, and well over 4-5x as fast as FireFox with Java.

You still want no-script to disable annoying behaviour of some pages and to i.e. ease up on your connection. Its a lot more about comfort than security for average user.
Also, security problems in plugins will, as always, be problem because they can't sandbox them in reasonable way.
Anyhow, google managed to break trust in few minutes since launch thanks to draconian eula: http://tapthehive.com/discuss/This_P...e_s_EULA_Sucks (i wonder how many people will check back for updates if it is fixed)
And code they released is uncompilable (compiles but will crash immediately) Besides, good luck forking project like this. It not like you would miss cooperation with google, would you?

copy-paste to url bar: "evil:%" (without quotes, duh)
All those tabs still need master process if that is gone it is GG.

IE3 is also a browser. Does anyone use it?

This browser is brilliant, it seems plain at start but after i watched the presentation of the new features it brings i'm hooked. Google has done it again.
Sadly, the speed and look is all the stupid masses of people can understand and measure the browser with.

It's fine, it's just in the comic I linked they kind-of give the impression they made that innovation even though it's not exactly the same as speed dial.
I am worried about the privacy issues with Chrome because of the EULA, as discussed at slashdot:

I've been using it for about 2 days pretty consistently (I've probably done about 3 restarts in that time) and I really don't notice a difference. Pages load virtually instantly for me on FF and it's about the same on Chrome. Maybe I'm not visiting unnecessarily huge web pages.

I am guessing no mouse gestures?
Edit:
Dl-ed it, it's nice for my old PC because FF keeps crashing on it when I try to load Kotaku.
Won't bother with it on the main PC though.

Nope, didn't ask me to restart. And I don't just restart my computer randomly.
Anyways, I'm still not using it, and I have restarted since I installed it. It's nothing special and I've got no reason to stop using FF.

Been using it for a few days. Has some issues with some of the pages I visit daily and seems to enjoy maximizing over my task when I exit a game from full screen. I assume it's just a beta thing. Don't notice any speed difference to be honest, but nonetheless I like the feel of it.

Yeah, it is only in Beta. Should be better by the time it's finished.
But then, people would have used the Source code to make addons for Firefox that'll make it better anyway, lol.

Speaking of web browsers, has anyone given the IE8 Beta a chance? I got it yesterday, and I am thoroughly impressed. The interface doesn't make me want to gag and it's speed is actually about the same as FF3, as far as I can tell. Is Microsoft on to something?

I think they did a great job making a free web browser developed for this century. Im still using firefox, but it was pretty good and they didn't make it for profits since i think firefox is now going to use a similar design

The cool thing tho is that you can arrange the tab by just dragging and dropping. I don't know what made me try it but I did and it works.

You can also make a new window from a tab. Just click and drag that tab down and then release. It'll pop up with a new window that was just a tab.

Or, you can click on the + sign in the tab and that will make a new window too.
