What happened to James Bond? srsly
Hey guys,
Just watched Quantum of Solace. DAniel Craig/James Bond is sooo sad with all his ladies dying and he's soo brutal. What happened to all those gadgets Pierce/other Bonds used? Is it because Daniel Craig is still a rookie Bond? Just wanted to know. My theory is that the agency is budgeting and Pierce broke all the other toys. |

Cause it is a Rookie Bond. He is suppose to be reckless. Remember these books are suppose to be precursors to the other ones. So he is going to be more reckless.

oh. So its a book series? damn.
anyways, the only thing they found out in Quantum of Solace was the name of the invisible organization right? Which was Quantum. Did I miss anything else significant in the movie? Did Pierce Brosnan/other bonds start off kinda reckless too? |

Brosans movies actually were not based off the books. There were only 12 books starting with Casino Royale. As Pumpkin Pie said, check out those sites to see.
Still can't believe you didn't know it was based on a book... I'm pretty sure they say inspired by Ian Fleming's novels... |

I miss the gadgets, not a big fan of the new bond films with Daniel Craig. I actually think Clive Owen would have been a better choice.

Yeah, I always thought Clive Owen would be a great Bond. Check out his new movie, The International.
As for the new Bond movies with Craig, I like them. I adored Casino Royale for its realistic tone. The less crap like surfing a tsunami with a car door, better it is for me. |

wait. So the Daniel Craig James Bond is the "start" start of the whole James Bond series? So does that mean all the other bonds are irrelevant w/ this new Bond?
btw, I also liked Casino Royale alot more but Quantum of Solace was kinda...meh. |
