Look closely at the photo... very closely... tell me what you see. For those of you who don't know what house that ^ is... Amityville Horror is based on THAT house. The house is real, and it is really evil.

I think we're talking about different ghosts here, but there is a guy in a civil war outfit under the High Hopes sign. I'm not sure if it's a statue

Look at what I have circled. It is the face of a ghost peering through the window, the eyes, and the nose in the center. Above that power/telephone line, you can see the hairline.

Because the house was quarantened by police, and was kept vacant when the picture was taken. A very famous photo was taken on the main staircase around the same time by a group of scientists working alongside the police.
Here it is:
Take time to note what is in the photo, and what I mentioned above. Notice something? I think it is fairly obvious...

Well, I'm a bit sceptic. How do we know that person is a ghost, rather than a living boy (girl?) who has been told to look at the camera.

That last picture looks more like a creepy person rather than a ghost tbh.

I think all three of the photos aren't terribly convincing. The ones taken in the haunted house could easily be have faked. The one in the link could very easily have been a man in a cloth garb edited, or maybe just a very craftily done double exposure. Like they shot him against a plain black background and exposed the same film to the stairway?
You know, coincidentally, I'm going to this an event called a Kuda Kepang. It's a sort of traditional Malay activity usually performed after weddings or birthdays.
They place certain music and perform a kind of dance that puts them into some trance like state, supposedly this allows wandering spirits to possess them and they do all sorts of weird things like drink soy sauce and eat grass. It's commonplace here in Singapore from what I understant.
I am going there with my camera because I thought there was an off chance I'd capture something on film. I know in certain places in Singapore, like Sembawang and Changi you can quite often capture "Orbs" in photos.
I've experienced my share of the creepy. Lights being physically swtiched off, phones being lifted and dropped on the receiver and I know there is another thing that happened in my house that kinda freaked me out and lead to a panicked sms to my mother. Thing is I can't remember the later so it mustn't have been much right?
Funny thing is, I have always been under the impression that Malay ghosts are the SCARIEST. You can't sway my opinion on that. Pontianaks enough scare the shit outta me. Thing is, there are so many Western ghosts on film, but never Asian ones...
That said, I am a skeptic in this whole affair of the ghostly kind.

Considering I have seen a ghost in person, and pissed myself in fear, I believe in them. I guess it is something you have to truly see to believe.

I call photoshop on the OP's picture.
@ Rahja's picture(s): First pic, I see the face (WAY to dim in the first pic, but in the circled one, I see it) but... where's the rest of the body O.o And How can YOU see the hairline? I only see two glowy eyes O.O
Second pic, I shit bricks, that kid, ghost or not, is freaking creepy in that pose... glowing eyes.
I myself, use to live in a haunted house, saw the ghost a few times, but never got scared by it for some reason.
Probably my silly 7 year old mind not fearing anything that didn't (couldn't?) hurt me.
