The average South African
"A recent study conducted by Wits University found that the average South African walks about 1,400 kms a year.
Another study by the South African Medical Association found that South Africans drink, on average, 100 litres of alcohol a year.
This means, on average, South Africans get about 14 kms to the litre"
WHAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAA!!
Kind of makes you proud to be South African

pwnd sounds like we had the same kind of day....hubby got to work ok, my antivirus is about to expire so I went to renew it and well I had it on another computer as well (which we dont have anymore) but it wont give me the option to upgrade only 1 and not the other so decided to just upgrade the one and pay for the other as well---we are renewing the software, so on the payforit page I try to enter in my login...doesnt work, so email me...that doesnt work either---ugh, think we registered it with our old dsl email that we no longer do business with so no way of upgrading now....guess we will figure something out later.
so I called up my sister because I need to get to my moms safety deposit box...so we when to the bank at lunch and the lobby was closed because of flooding I live around the corner from the bank and we had no such problems (tons of rain but no flooding---even my garage was dry ).....so we went to lunch instead---arbys has salads now oh happy day....I can eat there now. (have to take the cheese off but thats ok).....
got home and just as I was reading some mail the doorbell rings....go to the door and the phone rings.... got a box of stuff from japan--- made me happy especially after this morning...lots more stuffed toys are taking up space in my living room (must find them homes before hubby gets home---).

Ick that does not sound like fun at all. Arbys is pretty decent. You could probably ask them to leave off the cheese.
Well waiting for the gf to call so we can go out to her place again. Got to take my computer with me since I have a meeting at 6:30 and I need it.

I had a salad...lettuce, cucumbers, a few tomatoes and then a few pieces of chicken---how is that bad???? (and if I knew there was gonna be cheese I would have asked...but I know now)....
the stuffies found homes so all is semi -ok...a few extra pillows on the couch were a bit much (they will have to find new homes tomorrow------)...
got my paragon thru the jungle to finish off mox #13, and the last 2 that need to do it arent far enough in the story line of nf to get there so I can stop doing those for a bit....and back to normal gameplay---more skill capping for my monk...only 172 more to go for the max title!!

It's funny how Brussels sprouts (EWWW BLECCHHHHHH) can make anything smell bad.
And it's even funnier how my mom wants me to eat them.. :>

Cosy, you could always just use a crack to always keep your antivirus from expiring. But then again all the cool kids pay for antivirus, and im the only one hacking them

Or use the one I acquired from school that lets you chose a one year, two year, or non-expiring license.
Guess which one I picked? Heh.

Ya our school offers a free anti-virus so I am using that for now. Dunno what I will do when I graduate. Oh well, don't have to worry about that for another 2 years.
So had to meet with my lab group tonight. I had done the introduction and methods for the report. One kid had the results and discussion, the other had the abstract and title. Pretty easy stuff all things considered. Intro is usually that hardest due to the amount of research required. Well the kid with results and discussion, did the results but not the discussion. Okay fine, he finished that. The kid with the easiest part, abstract and title, didn't do any of his. >< Quite frustrating... Oh well... we finished.
Bed now. Lab tomorrow and then 3 hours of lecture.

My vacations are horrible.... I'm sooooo bored... I have some homework to do, but I'm not motivated enough (like always). I'm eager for them to be over (wow never thought that I'd say that one day xD).
Right now, I'm watching time pass by...and since my sleep clock is really broken (or too perfect, it depends from your point of view), I can stay up until dawn and I'd still get up before 8 am T_T.
And the worse thing of all : my computer is "repaired" but we can't do the back-up because it needs to connect to the internet and we have lost the installation disk...
Any of you guys have something that could occupy me for more than 5 minutes ? xD

well decided just to be a 'new' customer and go that way---seemed to have worked (am back up to date with my antivirus)...but then the phone rang, seems my credit card didnt appreciate the purchase of my antivirus software and wanted to make really really really really really really really really really really sure it was me that bought it (I used paypal just so I wouldnt have that dumb problem )....but now I am current...
for the college kids...what are you going to do when your 'free' antivirus software wont update since your os is out of date????? (or no longer supported, etc)
I didnt have that kind of option when I was in college--there was NO antivirus, there was no windows...apple was just apple and IBM rainbows were big sh*t.....no internet to speak of (unless you counted those news groups)....a long time ago, you guys have it easy now. (doesnt every generation say that about the next one?)
another day and another trip to my doctor....sigh

I saved the original installer.
But yeah, eventually, I'll have to pay. Bleh.
I don't like doctors so much.

Dunno haven't thought about that yet. Still a while away so meh.
Red, you need to find yourself a girl.
Doctors are alright, but if I can avoid going I do.
Lab and then lecture today... oh boy.

I'll never pay as long, as a crack exists for Nod32.
