well seeing as I was earning $10 for SKILLED DEGREE REQUIRED labor...8 is good....and thats been my wage since 1998....no temps never get wage increases even when minimum wage goes up! (ok some of my jobs have given me $10.50 an hour too---).....
now why would I want to go back to work for that when you say minimum wage is just $2 and some change behind me (when I started it was almost $5 behind)......
life suucks.....
and Isaac...most women dont shave there!

Well there is your problem lol You are only temp staff. I guess I am temp staff too but we get a raise for each year we come back. Still not much money which is why I bail hay on the side.
WAY too much info... do not want to know...

Most of the companies I have worked for I would not want to work full time for (the temp factor here lets me test out the companies....and between the asssskissing required, the social-ite atmospheres and the LACK of getting any work done....I like the option of not having to be one of their employees----and one of the companies I worked for [many of them actually] offered to hire me on at LESS than the temp company AND I would have to pay union dues as well---needless to say I stayed on as a temp until I just got sick of them)

Wow that does not sound like fun. I would have gone and found a real job instead of the temp stuff. But then again if you don't find something you like to do it's worse then a temp job.

just saw 2 movies and half of another today. I am really surprised that there was no security around to stop my friends and I from hopping around and considering this is a huge theater in Downtown Disney.
I'll be heading back home tomorrow . other than getting a huge sunburn on my shoulders and doing /wrist on my arms from rock climbing, i love orlando. I need to come back again

midwest does more of ACT. Eastcoast is mostly SAT, not so sure about the west coast.

so tell us what you did to earn you stay hannes?
my husband earns enough for both of us so I dont really worry......when I lived and worked in japan I made about 40k+ US dollars ---TAX FREE....that was sweet...paid off the car and all of my credit debt.....I miss that
I come back to the usa and start over from where I was a bunch of years ago.....on the bottom....needlesstosay I have not been looking very hard for a job---though the last company I worked for offered the parttime job I had to me---I told my boss (who was doing the offering ) that I would take HIS job, to which he replied...it might be available in a while----
I have done every job in an office that can be done (heck I have even fixed the fax machines and the xerox ones...though the newer ones are getting a bit over my head ....) sorry my 'lack' of work gets me angry sometimes. and I really doubt that most of you really want to hear my life's story (its not very pretty, actually parts of it are quite gross----)

SAT stands for scholastic aptitude test....its a test for college admissions made up of 3 parts, math, reading and writing....scores are usually 600- to what 800 range? with a perfect score of 2400 (my sister in law was very close to that---she did get a perfect score on the math test....can you say GEEK?)
the ACT is another pre college test it covers 4 areas math science english and reading....its scored from 20's to 36....a perfect score (I think I remember what I scored on this one---26 or 27....have no idea what I did on the SAT ).
the ACT is usually taken in your 2nd (sophmore) year of high school while the SAT is 3rd (junior) year ---if memory serves me right......I should find my scores some place...that would be a blast from the past-----unfortunately all of my school stuff is welllllllll packed away....might be able to find my college GRE (graduate record exam) test scores since I had to have that (the results not the test) when I applied for that job in japan----its a test you take before you go to graduate school....eg after you get out of college.

Wow you all are crazy. Normally I would have something to say but I'm tired. lol
Many times one spouse makes enough for the whole family which is nice I'm sure.
Sleeping in... I wish I could do that... 5:35 AM here and I have to leave for work in 10 mins for work. >.>
The ACT is scored from like 10-36 actually cosy. I know people that got 19's or lower on it. And that was taken my Junior year, not my sophmore year. I got a 26 on my ACT. Good enough to get me into my college lol
