dang so when I got back to work the wage I had been earning for a skilled worker with a college education will just about be minimum wage....that sucks big time....guess I will have to ask for more (and since the price of gas for the car has skyrocketed I will add that little cost in as well.....might almost get a decent wage then----)

Ya you might, but you never know. My gf's mom went back to teaching after a couple years, she has a masters and had taught for 15 years before resigning to stay at home with my gf and her sister when they were young. When she got a new job she started off with the same wages as a new starting teacher, not as one with her masters. But ya, guess that is how the cookie crumbles.

just because someone made some bad decisions in the past doesnt mean they are bad or will repeat them (though sadly many do---the object of that lesson is to LEARN from your mistakes).
