geez been some time since I was in my college symphonic band (both me and my hubby played)....ah the memories-----most of them BAD.
Actually was in band in both college and grad school----college was bad since when we went on tour (over spring break---so never got to go anywhere NICE then---we went to places like Omaha, Milwaukee and Indianapolis oh boy) we had to carry our own instruments....my hubby played tuba (got his BA in music) and I played 2 instruments that needed to have a third block to stand on.....contra-bass clarinet both the Eb and the Bb...which stands about 3 1/2 feet tall on its own....I really HATED flute players.....and since we, at the bottom of the band as we were called, could carry heavy instruments they also let us move the percussion ones too---I got the bells (the flutiests carried things like the conductors music or ONE cymbal

)
things were better in grad school....but still had to carry my 2 clarinets

but I enjoyed playing, wish I owned my clarinet---but alas I have a mouth piece and reeds (my hubby has 2 mouth pieces....gak wouldnt know where to hide a tuba in here!!!...at least the clarinets fit into long skinny boxes) I also played alto sax and flute---but wasnt very good. Last time I checked on the price of mine it was over 3k...and hubby liked a 4k tuba....welllllllll since grad school was the time we both ran out of 'financial backing' that didnt happen.

pollen???? they were talking snow (and saw some too)......though my condo has gotten cooler---dropped out of the 80's in here yesterday

though the condo association called to tell me they are going to trim my oak tree!!! YeAHHHHHH!!!!!! so maybe my poor car might get a break from the bird doo-sap-and acorn seasons.....would be nice to not have to wash it everyday for a change.

I was a drummer. Or concert percussionist, if you prefer. So I got to carry all the crap as well.

And yes, flautists are basically worth their weight in cat piss.

Our percussionist have to move the percussioinist. Everyone is responsible for their own instruments so it isn't bad.

It snowed here today for short period of times. oO Snow, at the end of April! Then the sun would come out! It was a crazy day...

(and yeah our percussionists had to HELP move their equipment, but really 5 tympanis....by yourself????....had to move them one year as well, had some nice bruises from that!)

well it would have been a really bad day if I had created that character on say june 6 of 2006-----or 6/6/6.....which come to think of it AAAACCCCKKKK she will be 2 which means that I DID create her on 6/6/6......so my next one year old will be (checks excel spreadsheet.....the 13th of june....oh boy hope its not on a friday

uhm yeah you look LOTS younger to me....remember I have been married almost as long as you have been alive----I have nieces and nephews who are in their 20's---and they all look like high schoolers to me.....SO yeah in my eyes you look like a kid.....
