Cold by its self is really not that bad, I've been in -40C and it was not all that bad.

Mind you, ad a bit of wind, and >.< thats were it gets really, really cold, and annoying you just wanna get indoors into the heat

we've been having like 33-37 degree F days...i wish all of it go away so then we would only have to deal with the rain. it'd be so much better if we only had rain instead of rain and freezing weather.

Winter is really a bleak time... I think this is when lots of people become depressed because there is really nothing to be excited about. Except Christmas... and break.... yaya BREAK!

I find most people are sick in Autumn when the weather is changing.

I guess people just aren't able to cope and think ahead... even though they might have lived in this climate all their lives.

autumn is the best time of the year i think, besides summer. all of the leaves changing colors are quite nice. winter just sucks...it's too cold, it's windy, and it's rainy.
it's hard to cope with it even though you know it's coming....i still hate it and i can't stand it ._.

Actually it doesn't matter if you have lived there your whole life. Your body will never be used to the changes since it is not gradual nor is it constant year to year. Some years it will stay warm longer other years it will be extremely cold quicker all depends. As for natural selection, being adjusted to the weather is not something that is a favorable trait or what that is selected for. So it doesn't really move anywhere.
