Guru is like guildwars, you need to grind for titles. That's why most people farm here for there Titles.
And if we institute post count +1 for meaning full posts, we might as well remove the post count from ventari too. Bidding on an item doesn't really help the community grow.

Also ofcourse it's fun to post here, to get your mind of things for 5 mins

Because many people post here because the forums that actually pertain to GW are full of QQ'ers and Elitest. They don't feel they can go there and actually talk about the game with out someone coming and telling them to "QQ moar" or saying how they are "Bad at the game". Really this is a safe haven for posters. Now we will have a ton of posters running around with Pre-searing on them because there is no post count. People will be confused for trolls IF they try to post anywhere else. They will be told that they should "troll less" even if this member has made posts elsewhere in the off-topic but since they don't show up no one knows. You go to the Riverside with a low post count and try to join a discussion, all hell breaks loss and you are automatically a troll. Not fair to them.

(PS, no this is not for me to increase my post count, I already have over 21,000 posts, I don't really need to have it increased, I am trying to make a legitmate point so now QQ you just want your post count up) >.<

Also if we had more ACTIVE moderators in the OT section they could watch out for the people who do do the +1 post count deal. If they catch them they can warn them once, they do it again, mini-ban, they keep it up perma ban. But we need active mods to do that.

Oh btw, if we get rid of post count here I say get rid of post count in the Price Check section. People can go there and spam halfway accurate prices or even just say agree with such and such and post a reason why. Run up a ton of posts in about an hours time.
