Watchmen VS Wolverine?
Which are you most anticipating? The Watchmen or Xmen Originals:Wolverines.
Thursday night bae-bae!!! Imax Watchmen. Cant wait!!
Its really up in the air for me. Wolverine has a slight edge (Gambit).
Without getting too picky and crybaby about meaniless crap, XMEN movies have been better than solid. I mean when i watch a movie, I truly try to enjoy the movie for what it is. You can always find fault.
Watchmen has been a long time coming. Cant wait.

Well, since X-Men origins doesn't come out until May, im going to way watchmen... for now. Im pretty sure critics will destroy the movie as it doesn't look terribly good right now =(

I'm sorry, were we watching the same movies? One was good, the sequels were forgettable.
Sabertooth as Wolverine's brother doesn't have me too excited. But that's still some whiles away. On the other hand, like Dante, I'm off to see Watchmen this weekend.

Oh god me too, as of now - the ratings look terrible, all of the top critics on rotten tomatoes are giving it rotten scores =/ AND this will be on my birthday! So I really would rather not be dissapointed...

But isn't that what critics are suppose to do? They are paid to be critical of the movies and rip every single little part of the movie. I usually like the movies that get shitty ratings from the critics then ones that get good ratings.

I finally read the Watchmen comics. I think the storyline is great but don't know if these actors/actresses can pull it off. I mean Dark Knight had some big name peoples in it. Watchmen has nearly no one that I know.
My thought is the movie is going to be average, it might get slam by the critics but hey that is what they are paid to do!

From what I've read, yes it's quite close to the graphic novel.
It's just the end that they've majorly changed.

Watched the Watchmen.
It is my opinion that half the people criticizing it are the people who went in expecting to see a nice action flick. (There were actually people who admitted to that.) If you criticize it based on that, you're missing the point. Then there's the entire fact that, well, you don't exactly get a nice decisive buttkicking of evil - probably pissed off quite a few people too. Seems like a lot of people don't like something with moral ambiguity.
I liked it, though. The Rorschach actor was pretty amazing.
Now to see what Wolverine can offer.
Besides Gambit. :P

I'm going to go and see the Watchmen sometime this week!!
Also based on the comic book, I bet there isn't alot of action sequences? Oh well, I just want to see how the comic book plays out in the big screen version!

I absolutely loved the movie. I saw it at midnight on Thursday.
Now know this, i am one who DID NOT read the novel. I did have enough info going into the movie to better help my expectations. I had a general knowledge of the novel and what it was about.
It truly was a great movie. My main concern was the director, but he did a great job of seperating(for the most part) 300 and the watchmen.
I agree with above post with respects to ACTION. It followed the novel pretty well and did get a little draggy at times, probably because more action was expected(thats not a complaint from me). I woud definitely see it again. Loved Rorschach, loved the actor. If you want to see a creepily awesome acting job by Jackie Haley(Rorschach), go check out the movie "Little Children."
