I just saw the trailer and release date announcement(Nov. 17) for it today. Is anyone else as excited for this as I am? I played a lot of Left 4 Dead in the months following its release, and if I had more time I'd still be on it every night. On a really good night, with a really good team, I had more fun playing that game than any other I can remember for a long time.

Left 4 Dead was great. The people who wanted plot made me laugh. It's zombies. They want you. Kill them. Stop asking questions.

Anyway, I haven't played L4D since probably March or early April (Xbox btw), but I'm very interested in the sequel. Half the fun of the game for me though was playing with one of my roommates, where we'd be yelling at each other across the house, and now he's moved out (BAWWWWWW). So it probably won't have quite the same appeal to me.

I'll unquestionably buy it but I doubt it'll live up to what I hope for.

Anyways, L4D is amazing, and I expect L4D2 to be better. Will definitely get this.

I would say I'm part of the group that is disappointed that this wasn't an expansion.

I'll buy it in the end, but I don't understand why it had to be a completely seperate game.

Anyways. I probably won't buy it until they lower the price severly, since L4D doesn't offer me a whole lot of content and L4D2 mainly just has the new environments going for it. The few other bonuses are pretty cool, but not enough for me to warrant it a sequel.

Sad thing to see L4D essentially getting the boot, though. Now it really *is* "left for dead".
