As bad as this is, it's not as bad as "Last Thursdayism." Of course, right on up there is young-earth theory and creationism in general. Deism is about the only non-naturalistic belief system that isn't outright silly. Of course, if it's true, then the belief itself is just about pointless.

I think this sort of BS will cause the atheists and religious people to unite and trash these people. After reading that article, baby Jesus suddenly looks credible.

No no no, everyone that believes the world is flat is a dumb Creationist.
And quite a lot of dumb people tend to be religious.
Even many christians at my university used to say that 'Evolution is just a theory', and supported creationism in an Evolution vs Creationism debate that the university had. One belief is that many of them had was that Noahs arc and the flood were 100% real. University students. Studying to apparantly become our next intellectual elite.
Im not making any conclusions though, just mere obeservations. But believing in the bible as factual is the first downfall of anyones intelligence.

Creationism is the belief that God created the universe. It does not state anything about the means by which he did it (unless you take the Bible for word in which case [email protected])

So much undeniable evidense there not taking that into though will show ignorance......Down with religion up with science... ok i went over board there but i am very anti-religious person.

That page on Pan Ku makes me realise why Philosophy is obsolete now.
Go go scientific method, the only real intelligent thinking.

Q: "If you go directly south won't you eventually fall off the edge of the Earth?"
A: Yes, you will. In order to use this fact as proof you need to record a video of someone flying directly south around the world without falling off the edge. Furthermore you need to prove that your navigational equipment allows you to travel directly south without deviating.

That sounds like a plan to me!

This is the big difference between the theory of evolution and creationism. Evolution has real evidence to support it while creationism is just a belief since we don't have any means to find out if god created the universe or not (the only way to prove it is to find god, good luck on that).

God=Aliens.. just give a thought..
Descended from Heavens=Came from the Sky
In White glowing= Space suit with flashlights
Incredible powers of fire etc=Torches, flamethrowers, industrial tools
Angels=Robotic servants or jetbacks on their backs in for of a wing.
Now think about piramids and stones in mexico which were MACHINED (you know what that means right) 3000 years before the first machining tool was created....
Aliens are these deities, gods, entities call them what ever...prove me wrong ( lets not go inot universe.. we are speaking solole earth)

Uhm. No. Stop being ignorant.
The story about how God created the universe in 6 days is a metaphore. Nobody sane believes in it.
Christians, like YOU PROBABLY DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND, mainly follow the teachings of Christ, not what was written in some old book thousands of years ago.
Just to show how wrong you are - John Paul II believed that the theory of Evolution is based on facts. So if the most important Catholic person in the world says it's very possible to be true (because, well, we haven't witnessed and probably won't witness the process of evolution - unless we find someone that has been alive for the last ten thousand years), then I think Christianity =/= Creationism.
