I haven't used an antivirus or firewall other than my router in years, and I haven't had any problems during that time. I think they are completely unnecessary as long as you aren't an idiot about browsing and downloading.

Meh, as a little test I've linked to an old image (the smallest one I could quickly find) I have on imageshack

I can only assume that whatever happened was fixed, as ImageShack seems to be working fine.

It's only some of the imageshack servers. so only a few of my saved pics were hit.
