I was referring to armour art in general. You can always pick one or two armour sets which ... well, can be disgusting at best, but it doesn't justify bashing it on the whole. Indeed, some GWN armours are weird or sex%^$&@$*$&, but I can't really say it about any of Prop armours, which I like very much. Plus, gustibus non disputandum est

So i quickly scanned through the answers and I have to weigh in.

Typically I get a little long winded so I'll try to keep this s.a.p. (I just cant though)

Sex sells. Sex sells. Sex sells. Lets talk PHYSIOLOGY.

Why does sex sell?? Its pretty easy process. We "essentially" have 3 sections of the brain. We have a section that controls simple thoughts. We have another that controls reasoning and rationalization. And we have an animalistic section.

Now we can correlate how we as humans react when drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, eating food, doing any type of drug, etc .....to this SEX SELLS topic. These all come down to some basic physiological reactions.

Simply being. You see something that spikes your interesting. Almost immediately certain hormones are released in your body and changes the balance of your hormones, which inturns changes your mood. This doesnt have to be sexual...it could be a motorcyle(if you are into them) that catches your eye.

Now these hormonal changes.....change the effect on each part of the brain. The hormones "can" raise the animalistic part over the rationalization/simple thoughts parts and boom, you arent thinking like you normally would. Thats the process when drinking alcohol, drugs, eating.....it blocks off 2 of your parts of the brain and lets the "animal" in you come out.

When you are in a good "mood," its hard to say no. Theres good solid physiological reasoning behind that.

When it comes to this whole comment about little horny boys cant say no.
Well ya know its really not their fault. From the age of 12ish up until the at of 19ish which is the peak age of "horniness" for males.....boys are a raging pile of hormones. Its really not their faults.

There was a study recently released. The examined the behavior of newborn/less that 6 month old babies. Theres a high percentage of babies that reacted with smiles, giggles, and interest to the site of attractive adults. When it can to looking at "not as" attractive adults, the smiling, giggling, and interest dropped off dramactically.

And yet people think sex doesnt sell. Sex sells isnt and never has claimed to 100%. But even 30% of all customers that have interest in your product isnt bad if thousands of people see your advertisement every day.

One of my friends bought Guild Wars:Factions, just because he liked Nika, the assassin. He sent me a file in an Email with about 9 different pictures of her. Now tell me that that kind of stuff(I wont use the word) doesn't sell.

I'm often amused by the fact that it's more times than not women meeting a certain unreasonable standard of beauty that the average chubby MMO player will never get to see in real life, yet alone touch.
