I thought there used to be a thread for character name discussion, but I cant find it anymore.

Please dont mistake this for a whine thread, I just want to know whether or not you think my newly banned name broke the rules of GW or not.

My PVP mesmer was named 'Two Guys One Cup'.

I werent aware if parody names which are themselves completely harmless but a parody of something rude on the internet broke the EULA.

I remember asking plenty of people in game while on the character, and not one person thought it was a name violation, but I logged in today after a very long time and I had to rename the character.

I do not find it offensive in any way, however I do see how people could view it to be rude.
I don't understand why people use these names, especially with multiple threads here saying "OMG I got banned for calling my char Supriz Bhattsecks".
Stay well away from naming your characters anything that connotes the idea of sex or swear words.

My pvp monk was named buttface joe. My name is joe, I made the ugliest monk possible, two days ago, he had to become something else, it disappointed me.

its because you asked. i've no idea what that name would mean beside 2 guys and a cup. so what, thers 2 guys and a cup, but you put yourself in the ban-line by asking about how offensive it is. I've seen way more offensive names being used and no one even care.
