I can't believe I need to even explain this.
It's ok if you call yourself american, but your country is not America but USA.

example: I am from America. (wtf? Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Argentina? Wich one?)
I am from the USA. (ah thats clear)

A real one here:

Quote:
Marcy Meckler. While shopping at a mall, Meckler stepped outside and was "attacked" by a squirrel that lived among the trees and bushes. And "while frantically attempting to escape from the squirrel and detach it from her leg, [Meckler] fell and suffered severe injuries," her resulting lawsuit says. That's the mall's fault, the lawsuit claims, demanding in excess of $50,000, based on the mall's "failure to warn" her that squirrels live outside.
Sighhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Whilst being on the topic of lawsuits, is there anyone here who knows stuff about lawsuits? If so, please answer the following question:

Why do judges sometimes not allow parties to present certain evidence to the jury?
I saw a case a while back where a man, who was fleeing from the police, had an officer at pointblank before another officer jumped on him and arrested him. The party was not allowed to present the fact that he pointed a gun at the officer because 'he wouldn't have a chance'. Isn't that the whole point?

It's all about technicalities.

well, the defense must have the chance to see and analyze the evidence before it's allowed to be submitted during trial. you can't just surprise everyone with evidence, not sure if that's the case though.
