Sore winners.
I can't stand the players that think they are the greatest player Ever and all the other players should just bow down to them. These are usually the 14-16 year olds with screennames like "Pwning Ranger", "Leet Pwns Your Butt".
I also don't like the super-rich that refuse to speak to the "commoners". I once got into a pug. One of the warriors in the group had a tormented shield. At that time, I had never seen a tormented shield and it was simply the coolest shield I had ever seen.
I asked him what shield it was and the only response I got was "idiot". He ragequit on us after the first mob. So anyways, I spent an hour on wiki pulling up shield pics until I found it. Now all I have to do is actually finish NF and I can start farming for my own shield.

If there's one thing I can't stand about some guilds, it's when there's a certain "elite clique" that's placed higher than the other members. Sure, it isn't really noticeable... but if you're good at feeling undertones you can detect them.
I was once in a guild where there was a "squad" that got to do just about everything, GvG, HA, TA, you name it, and the other members were just left in the dark.
Another thing I hate is guild drama spilling into local chat. And people who talk about you behind your back.

I dislike people who go
"Whos *insert race*"
Asking those kind of questions even if your intention is to socialize its not needed, ever.
I also dislike people who won't let me come with them to UW just so I can leech the ecto drops =P
You all know that feeling....people won't let you leech ecto
BTW. I hope your sarcasm detectors went off.

Hmmmm....
1.People who accept an AB team invite only to repeatedly ask for everyone else to wait while they tweak their build.
2.People in PvP who wisp with insults after tasting dirt (thank god for offline mode).
3.Sore losers, but worse those who can't win without celebrating with insults.
4.Players who lack manners and maturity.
5.Those of the elitist mind-set.
6.Anyone who ever killed me.

I mostly hate unreliable players. People who leave in mission or PvP. I also hate players who scam, steal and/or leech.

When I encounter someone that's using a 100% melee shutdown build and spams it on me, then when I stop attacking they make fun of me. Yep, I'm going to just pretend like I can't see all those hexes.
People that gloat about winning a 1v1 battle. If GW was about 1v1 I'm sure there would be another type of arena strictly for 1v1.
Oh and here's my favorite one. People in arenas that say stuff along the lines of "Its hopeless they have a monk, just /resign"

1)ppl who say WTS rare (insert common drop here) 5-10k
its not rare b/c its only dropped for u once.
2)ppl who put a price range on items when spamming WTS
ex WTS caster ele sword req12 30-40k.
3) overpricing common drops
4) spamming really low prices when they wtb. (saw someone spamming WTB 1k for a 20/20 sword mod today)
5) ppl who sit in town for hours and hours trying to sell things instead of playing the game.
there was a person in kamadan ad1 this weekend who was spamming
WTS req9 tyrian magmas shield -2 enchant +45 enchant 100+70e. i go back to kamadan to merch after i do a mission/vanquish and area to see if anyone has something im looking for. that person was there evey single time i went back for 3 days.

I have some new ones since today. People who assume I'm some kind of slack jawed loser with no life because I saved money for a month to get a Destroyer Maul + Primeval Armor! And that doesn't just go for me. I've had a lot of friends who are skillful at the game get bashed because they saved money to get themselves something nice.
People that complain about how getting is too hard/easy. It's a title, a personal achievement. And a lot of them are easy to get if you just stop obsessing about it and let it develop as you play normally. I mean. I haven't even finished GWEN yet, and as I played I did some side quests and I'm almost rank 5 with Asura/Norn. ect.
People just need to calm down and have fun with the game instead of making it hard for others to do so :P
One last one before I go. And probably the one I dislike most of all. Leechers leechers leechers!

People who treat GW as their life. After seeing the "/age" thread I wonder if some people ever leave the house.

this HZH English dist 1.
Player1: LFG for xxxquest
few lines of random
Player1: People for xxxquest
few more lines of random
Player1: anybody for xxxquest plz
Player2: hey, Player1, I /reported you for spamming, so STFU.
Anybody else see whats wrong with this picture?!
/report command is easily abused and does NOT encourage group play.
And hate may be a strong word, but I've found quite few people in GW that I do HATE! Like Player2 up there. I used to jump in arenas once in a while. Since /report was added, I won't even go near them.
But the people I HATE are the ones that think its their right to report everyone for everything or anyone for anything.

1. Those that skip missions and quests.
2. Those that try to get into mission parties when they level is lower that the henchmen level.
3. "Play the game for me". Pretend others making missions for them. Ask insitently for builds and NEVER make their own, and never try twice a quest. If they fail once, they instantly go for someone that makes the quest for them... and ask for builds to make it easier.
4. Those that get to Viunah Square at level 13, wen you can get to level 20 Before leaving Shing Jea.
5. Those Alt+F4, Try this! Immature brats.
6. Those that spell incorrectly on purpose.
7. People pretending you to give them for free... anything. And asking insistently for things. Specially luxuries like miniatures, tomes nice-skinned weapons. And it's even wrse when they decline to accept things if they are perfect collector or blue stuff. They want only green or gold! Hmpf!
8. Those that join guilds. Ask for stuff, an leave when they get what they wanted.

TBH the only ones I can see falling for that are... other immature brats. If some 11-year old assgoblin suddenly vanishes from Kamadan because another slightly more educated 11-year old assgoblin tricked him into Alt+F4-ing, I think that makes Elona that much more pleasant.
And you CAN turn off local chat, you know - if anyone wants to talk to you they can damn well whisper you.

Oh, not, that's not the worst, part. The part I hate is when someone tell them off, and they start insulting left, right and center and tell other to mind their own business. As if it where ok to do such things.
Geez. Tourete brats.

I totally agree. We have one of those in our Alliance. Every time he logs on he's begging for a run to someplace. We were organizing a FOW group and he comes on Alliance chat:
Helpless: What's fow??
Player 1: Fissure of Woe. Wanna come, we need a tank.
Helpless: Ok, run me there. I'm in Yak's
Player 2: You have to be ascended first.
Helpless: What's ascended mean?
Player 1: You have to ascend in the desert first.
(this kid only owns Prophecies)
Helpless: Where's the desert. How do I get there?
Player 3: Do the Sanctum Cay mission.
For the next hour we hear non-stop from helpless..."need a run to sanctum cay"
I log on the next day and immediately hear
Helpless: Need a run to Augry Rock!!
The next day it's "Need a runner for dunes mission"
I tried to do a mission with a guildie last week and throughout the entire mission this kid was whispering to him to stop and come help him. Every 5 minutes he got another PM asking if he was done yet.
I think he finally gave up on the desert and returned to Yaks because last night I saw him asking for a runner for Borlis Pass.
