I'm a bring my Tank to the wedding. Just picked up the tux from the cleaners....
would have gotten it sooner but the cleaners wife said he was to busy.
I asked busy with what......she said he's been "mostly dead all day."

It will either take place in explorable area ( i suspect out of Eye of the north though..), either in a EotN outpost ,since then people who don't have EotN ( thus cannot participate to quests ) would be able to see the wedding ..

Where will the wedding take place?

The wedding will be happening in a new version of Olafstead, suitably decorated in the spirit of the festivities. From a storytelling standpoint, I felt it made the most sense to have the wedding taking place in the north. Gwen and Keiran have both lost their families, which ruled out a return to Ascalon -- it lacks a certain emotional impact when there's no one there waiting for you. I also feel like that's an aspect of Gwen's character that we've already resolved by having her return home and face Dahgar in Eye of the North. Gwen and Keiran found a new purpose in life with the Ebon Vanguard, and their relationship began in the north. By having the wedding happen there, it felt like a good bookend to the story. Also, it's infinitely less creepy than having it happen in the Underworld so that Gwen's mom can attend...-Source

True love is the greatest thing in the world. Except for a nice MLT: a mutton, lettuce and tomato sandwich, where the mutton is nice and lean and the tomato is ripe. They're so perky, I love that.

*I cant find where I read it but somewhere they say the wedding will be instanced so people can enjoy the wedding on thier own time, instead of missing the wedding day.

Yes.You must finish both WiK and HotN.

Thanks. I guess the wedding will be a semipermanent event, then, like any quest. I sort of wish they would hold the wedding for a few days only, like a holiday, but allow all players to show up without completing the quests beforehand. Maybe the crowds would be too large then?

From a purely nerdy point of view... I'm not 100% excited about the story (meh) and so I've been reluctant to do the HotN content.

But I bet there's going to be a lot of Party Animal title track points available at the wedding, and I want Party Animal title track points. So I guess I'll have to break down and do these quests.

It's all just so... bleh. Wedding planning isn't one of my interests (weddings = waste of time), and I really REALLY don't like Gwen. As a person. Helping ole Billy Ray Cyrus make his way back to her isn't something I feel strongly about doing.

Captain Gwen dumps the loser Thackeray, who is a LIEUTENANT only, and tell him "I'm better than you are LOSER and I can do much better than you for I am a Captain and you are just a whatever below me."

She runs off and have a few one night stand with the White Mantles and gets pregnant. She then sleeps with Thackery(he's a loser so he will take Gwen back anyday) and a week or so later tell him she's pregnant with his child.

And then in GW2, the son (forgot his name...goes to show you how much I really follow GW2 since IT'S NOT OUT YET!!! ), will face the White Mantle.

In the final battle, before the White Mantle's leader takes the final blow, he says "....I AM YOUR FATHER!!!!"

LLLLLLLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

Gwen won't turn up. We'll be sent on an array of quests to find her and convince her to show up next time, based on clues found around Tyria.

When she finally shows up, as the minister asks "if anyone knows any reason why this man and woman should not be joined in holy matrimony", Miku will burst in and unleash.

Gwen would have something to say about that.

On a side note, I wonder what the "dynasty" that they'll found will be like. Will they take titles (like Duke or whatever), or just continue with military ranks? Will they rule Ebonhawke or just be the most powerful family in the city? It will be interesting to find out.
