Guild Wars Fighting Game
How much would you like to see a 2D fighter based on all of the professions from Guild Wars?
There would be ten characters but each character would have special movesets or attributes depending on what they select. Like the Warrior who chooses Hammer will play a little differently than the one who chooses Sword & Shield.
Hammer warriors can deal larger amounts of damage and have bigger punishes, Sword/Axe & Shield players can prevent chip damage, but will need to focus more on combos, set-ups and mind games.
I would much rather see this than GW2!

yea i would rather them work on GW2. if you need a fighting game get tekken or dead or alive, or even soul caliber 4.
Anet doesnt need to make a fighting game with only 10 or so players based off characters from GW.

It's an interesting idea but no doubt wouldn't sell much once people found out farming not an option
I'd still buy it if it came out on psp, although I'd no doubt ask for a refund if it was anythig like Polymock

There would be ten professions, but each profession would have more than one style of play based on the specialty you select.
So the elementalist would sort of be like four characters, you can choose an Earth, Fire, Hydro or Air moveset.
The warrior gets three movesets.
Assassins can get two sets of different specials, between Shadow and Death.
Also maybe there could be secret characters for bosses, heroes, or costumes (Playing as a Grenth guy, or a Mad Court guy).

Try posting again when you would like to participate in the discussion properly. Guild Wars PvP is not a fighting game, as fighting games are traditionally known.
"Glhf."
Thankyou. I know my opinions are often not very popular, but I'm not impressed with Guild Wars 2 from a game play and design angle. I'd be more hyped for something completely out there, like a fighting game.

You're in luck; I happen to know a game that fits:
Despite this, I must concur with you I'm not impressed on GW2's design angle.

I've played that game. The story sucks, the level system is a total grind, and all the pugs are noobs. i wouldn't recommend it
