cosy - for books, I order from betterworldbooks.com a lot. It's a used book site that does free shipping (the books are all donations or library discards) and the proceeds go towards literacy charities. It is awesome.

that's just tooo many people in one place for me....and I was in florida anyways so---

yeah I will miss wandering aimlessly in bookstores---guess I will go back to wandering grocery stores instead (I like to cook so its not soo bad...and you can always find something tasty!)

Well, we've not only taken over the entirety of the Hyatt and the convention center, but three of the hotels across the street. It's gotten a bit crazy, yes, but the only other place in the area we could possibly move to is McCormick Place, which is prohibitively expensive and just really inconvenient for everyone who travels.

Wandering stores in general is fun. I love cooking and baking too (I put a recipe in the newest GuildMag), though I got annoyed last time I was wandering a grocery store because they had no honeycrisp apples and I really wanted some

My gf loves to wander stores. It gets annoying cause I prefer to get in and get out. No lollygagging. She likes to go up and down every single aisle...

there are some stores I like to wander in---books, groceries.....craft...but not most others (not clothing, hate clothing shopping as well as shoes)....I wander around the bass pro shop too--lots of good stuff there NON fishing related (they have great plastic containers and storage stuff--and clothing--now THAT is where I go for cothing

) have even found stuffed toys there

(hubby likes to go to computer stores, I can usually find a stuffed toy there too--he bet me I couldnt! linux penguin

sis still says gas over 4 in most of where she drives (burbs chitown).....still waaay too expensive to basically go anywhere.

so if I dont post no one else does for 3 days????
well my arc is nearing completion....only need to get pairs of animals (got lots of the stuff toy type so I am gonna use them instead

and the computer building will be getting underway again this summer (I am still not a plexiglass artist, really).

It was a pretty nice weekend. And ya, no one posted and double posting is a bad idea. So ya... Glad you posted!

Gas is $3.88 here... Flippin' WAY to high... Needs to start dropping again. I'm hoping it went up just because of Memorial Day weekend...

Yup. It went down to 4.19 today in my area...which made me swear profusely since I filled up my tank yesterday when it was 10 cents more >.<
