wish I had bread at my house (fiep ate it all)... still need to get to the grocery store since we are eating stuff from the freezer and the few root veggies that arent growing wildly in the fridge. (I even have bare space in my pantry )
well got a massage today--looking forward to that, and possibly going out for sushi with my friends----

could be they are turtle and are inherently slow (totally ignoring the bad joke).....
if you REALLY want a ban, just ask and we can give you some time off

Bad jokes and puns do not really merit a ban, just a "doh". Do people in your area run red lights on a regular basis? They do here and it really pisses me off.
Pax East is in Boston this weekend and it sold out(63000 people). I would have liked to attended if I was more up with things and didn't have a dislike for crowds.

Im too tired to respond to the bad jokes.
I understand the dislike for crowds RR. They are pretty terrible.
Welp my college is on Spring Break. But not me, I still will go to school this week. >.>

yep that is the problem with student teaching--you are there when they are whether your college has time off or not---
crowds I can do without--ALWAYS.
went to a new sushi place, the food was ok, the place was waaaay toooo loud so final analysis--not worth a return visit.

Ya but I'll be on break and they won't be. Plus since my college is private and doesn't follow the whole normal holiday's off schedule then I get them off. So that is kind of nice as well. So I get off in 3 weeks for a week.
Wow that joke was pretty much wrong in English... Just sayin'.

yep remember that as well (my college was private too)...was kinda nice having time off when everyone else was in classes (though I had the flu so it wasnt as nice as it should have been).
been watching the news on japan---very very sad, I contacted some of the people I still know there and they are still quite worried about that reactor.

I hated missing class when I was sick because I never knew if I would miss something important or not.
Hopefully the reactor stays safe as they are saying it should.

yeah I keep reading and it still looks bad
and all you americans (minus those who live in arizona) remember you lost an hour this morning!
it was funny watching my computer go from 1:59 to 3:00 and skipping all of the 2's....now to try and resync my sleeping habits which had not completely synced from the LAST time change ....ugh.
cant we just ditch this 'daylight savings time' altogether??? we DO have lights now and can work when its dark outside et.al......so I see no need to continue this archaic ritual any longer.

I was finally getting set on my sleep schedule. Now a wrench has been thrown in the works. Jerks... Darn you Benjamin Franklin! DARN YOU!
I agree Cosy, I would be all for getting rid of it. But of course we can't break tradition.

actually wasnt ben franklin, but some kiwi who first suggested it--and then it took off when some brit resuggested it (though he did come to it on his own )....but the reasons for it are very out dated and the study they did from the last big change (you will remember it used to be the first sunday in april last in oct)...showed that it actually was WORSE than before! (it saved nothing and cost millions of dollars!!!)
so lets just toss it out the window--only half of the world even USES it and then those who do dont use it at the same time thus causing even more confusion!!! (it was one of the nice things about living in japan--no dst, but made calling home almost impossible when you have to think 14 or 16 hours different).

I keep watching the earthquakes and such from japan--and 2 more reactors have lost it, looks like its going to be a very very long road for japan's recovery. (though the yen is STILL doing better than the dollar ).
mayan calendar---and just what would we do after 2012 is over and we are still here????

I don't care if it is harsh.
The Hatian earthquake throw the Earth's axis off by a mm or something. Just amazing the power of the Earth.
