Back home a doctor appointment was 42 euros, but social security refunded you 80% of the cost. Everything that was considered medical necessity (ie : not unneeded plastic surgery).
But that system is coming to an end....too much people abused it and no social security has to cut back on things like some medications aren't refunded anymore. Right now France is starting to get f***** with social security and retirement, but meh it's not a political forum so let's get away from those talk and go back to the land of butterflies and snow.
...
Whoops...no snow here T_T. But it's rainning, so I'm a little happy.
Also have to get ready for my exams. That's going to be a fun week.

depending on where you live some states make you pay online taxes for purchases (and if you are in the same state as the seller you will get it as well), some states wont ---some states dont have sales tax (Oregon!! )....and sometimes you will have to pay the sales tax of the state that the seller is in AS WELL AS the your own state tax, nice aint it?
got my bill for having my blood taken--from the doctor who I didnt even see! yeah thats the kind of bs we deal with here (yes they called me to tell me what the results were and that cost me $136.....dang wish I had that job)....and one from my hubby's doc as well---yes another $136 for no doctor visit--just a phone call with results (and yeah my crummy 'insurance' discounted a few dollars off whooooppe....so glad we have them for that).

Welp, done with the first 12 quizzes. Now i have to wait for next weeks 12 to come out. Hopefully doing 6 Monday and 6 Tuesday. Should be fun. >.>
Bills? Luckily I only have to pay taxes on my work pay and that is it right now. Living at home means the parents foot the bill. Well minus gas for the car.

dont even want to think about taxes just yet.....that will be february. (though have started to gather the appropriate forms that I will need to fill in those pesky lines---though strangely enough have NOT received my taxes forms--usually have them before new years).
dual monitors...wow, I have 2 computers that sit next to each other, is that close enough ?

Dual screen set ups can make you so very productive. I used to work on papers that way. Have my research on one screen and the paper on the other. Worked great.
Taxes... ya. No thanks on that. lol

Hmmm, 44% i pay in taxes, and i'm happy with it, it's the Value added tax on 25% on stuff AFTER the 44% taxes that makes me cringe.

I don't want to get mine removed. They aren't hurting me or moving my other teeth, so I guess for now it's okay.

had mine removed back in the '90's by a real quack of a doctor "do you or anyone in your family have problems with anesthesia? YES to both" yet they never asked me about it and then wondered WHY I wasnt waking up after they pulled my teeth??? ----and then they had the gall to just dump me into my car and tell my hubby to leave--no follow up, it was 'hey we are leaving for the day, she isnt awake and why is her blood pressure so low--oh nevermind I have a dinner date---' yep almost died from having my wisdom teeth pulled.
hubby wont get his pulled even at the insistence of his dentist--who has been telling him this for years now--gee hubby is in his mid 40's now, dont think they are going to come in and have NEVER bothered him, why should we waste the time and money to have it done??? (yep, dentist needs the cash--well he aint gonna get it from us--hubby faints when I get a shot! let alone even THINKING about having something like this done)
but yeah if you have a good dentist you should have them all taken out at the same time--much easier on you (though in japan if you were to have them taken out it would take about 4 visits PER tooth....so 4 teeth would take 16 visits....docs over there get paid by visit from insurance so they milk it for all they can).
and mine had not completely erupted so azzer--you can have them taken out anytime they have shown up on the xray (hubbys never came in either)....actually MOST dentists will INSIST they be taken out before they come in so that they dont come in wrong!

I still have mine. Sometimes they hurt, but I think that is just them breaking the skin. Don't know if I will ever get them pulled or not.

thanks azzer--but that is pretty much normal for my life. Luck is something that evades me---and people sometimes like to hang around me if they have bad luck because I seem to have an -antiluck- aura, neither good nor bad luck exists for those around me....(I usually wind up with the bad from those peeps though----)...my poor hubby always had good luck, such that his siblings would put his name down on stuff and he would win.....well in the 23 years since then, his luck disappeared.....yep my aura took it. (and no I didnt get any good luck in return either).
but yeah my phrase of the life is 'murphy was an optimist' .....and yes I have gotten used to it by now. (eg I dont wonder why things go wrong, I usually wonder why they have NOT).
had sushi for dinner...YUM!!
