Hiroshima and Nahasaki is not europe Cosy (hi hi). (i know it's not what you mean, but gotta joke about it).

War is just stupid, and 99% of wars is because of some kind of religion/cult/sect things, WW2 was hitlers hate towards jews, for no reason.

Again, thanksgiving don't exist in Denmark, and never will, for me atleast, christmas i don't celebrate either, i go to my family and eat, no presents from me, or to me, i'm agnostic all the way, and i can accept seeing my family 1-2 times a year.

yes most wars are either because of one mans ego or religious reasons---both really stupid reasons, really very stupid. (hilter also wanted to get back at the french but that was very very very low on his list--but he did accomplish it)

would rather not go anywhere for holidays, my family is spread out across the usa (mom in florida, sister and brother in illinois, another brother working for bill gates out in washington)...so the impetus to travel just aint there for me. (the phone works just fine).

staying at home is just fine by me.

my turkey is relaxing in the fridge now (out of the freezer)....so it begins....though tomorrow all I am making is the rolls....and will start work on the pie (cherry pie)....

ugh, have a massage tomorrow---will be the highlight of my day!

I am glad I am not going to my hubbys family as his dads wife's family will all be there (she was one of like 8 kids all of whom are married with at least 2-4 kids each---just too many people in one place at one time!)

Hmm, maybe i should go to USA on thanksgiving for some turkey, never tasted it.. tasted so many other things, moose, crocodile, pig jaws, elk, and so on.

1 thing good did come out of WWII though, yes it was bad for whom it was used on, but medical progress was really really great, and we would not have so much and good medication today if it was not for WWII.

Edit: and who truly likes the french? except Red, he's cool enough.

I just like to make fun of the French, really don't have anything against them. Just fun to make fun of them.

Turkey is amazing azzer. You really need to eat some and soon!

I love being home. So nice, though this big black dog of mine makes it really hard to type since she likes to shove her face under my arm when I'm typing. Oh well. I still lover her.

I'm currently getting rain. Supposed to "snow" tomorrow.

OH I was supposed to make fun of the french....well the croissant is really a funny shape---though they are fieps favorite so I cant say too much about it (except my hubby does origami, and I get him these origami calendars ...they have one per day and the one for monday was a croissant....)

dogs will ALWAYS do puppy eyes--they KNOW how to play you better than you can play a video game!!
my friends cats always do this when she calls me too---they jump on the phone and beg for attention (but only when she and I are talking)....

yes the weather outside is getting cold, good thing I have no place to go (after my massage which is only a few minutes away by car) so let it snow/hail/sleet....ye get the point .....

Most dogs are cute since they are so happy and playful.

When I think of it, I'm not that fond of French cooking since of their meals are made of things that I don't eat (fish, sheep, snails, seafood) or I find them too complicated to be worth it (yes it may taste extremely good, but don't expect me to be fond of it if you give me less than a spoon...).
