I'm hoping since it is Sunday that it won't be as busy but who knows. I'm not one to go to theaters usually. I would prefer to wait until it is almost out of theaters but we have time to go now and she really wants to see it, so we are going. Meh.

Hopefully there aren't a lot of little kids there, hopefully they go to the 2 or 3pm showing of it. That would be ideal.

Harry Potter was great! The first movie will always be my favorite. <3 But DH1 was really, really, really good.

Thinking of going back and watching it again!

Just got back from it. Pretty good. The gf cried at the end, don't know why I mean come on, she read the books! She knows what happens lol Oh well. It was a good time. Good food before, good movie. All and all a good day.

Wintersday? Oh ya, on that game that this site is about. Guild Wars or something. I almost forgot about that game.

(Talking about Legendary Master of the North. Party and Sweet tooth are not yet done, but it's only a matter of time and money. I never actually thought I'd really get that title, since I thought I'd had a horribly hard time doing the dungeons on HM, but nope, it all when smoothly

Can't wait for wintersday, but that's because it will bring me closer to C : WC (the only one I'm really interested) and I love updates. And it may allow me to bring me closer to maxing the money titles.

Don't know if I'm going to go see the new Harry Potter. All I know is that I will do my best to avoid kids...

I have a lot of party stuff but just haven't bothered using them yet. I also have a ton of alcohol but haven't spent time doing it since it takes a while. Anywho, don't play much so I guess I shouldn't care?

We actually avoided the kids for the most part. There were some younger kids but they were good for the most part, there were also some really old people there as well. Either way there wasn't much of an issue with crowds or nothing. Pretty fantastic.

Studying? Ya, not studying but I am working on homework while watching football now. Always good.

Ya, last thing we wanted was to packed in there like sardines. So it worked out well and I got an aisle seat.

And no one in our row left, though the people behind us did a few times and hit the back of my seat every time. Oh well.

In 3 weeks, finals start. Crazy...

got one character working on master of the north--just needs to do some vanquishing and he will be done (and kill duncan nm)....after that its more account wide titles to complete (kurzick faction farming, opening chests, hoping for a gold to id---keeping lockpicks etc).
Got another one looking at vanquishing elona---not looking forward to the hidden city on that (and if she does prophecies--rotscale)....but that is some time away

and yep, got stuff for wintersday even though I already have drunkard and party done (still have a few more sweets to eat to complete that---but with the amount of fruitcakes that drop during wintersday, that should finish that up).

been taking too many naps to help my ribs heal, now I cant sleep at my normal time (but my ribs are starting to feel better!)

I'm not flying anywhere, just driving home for a few days of spending time with my family. I am looking forward to that.

American, American Intelligence, all pretty much the same thing. I just avoid those shows and then I don't have to worry about it. I can definitely say that ya, there are some pretty stupid Americans that say some really stupid stuff. I'm sure that is in every country but since we like to put stupid people in front of the camera, well you know the rest.

got my follow up appointments for my ribs this week then time for tur-key!!!

I LOVE turkey, one of the few american foods I couldnt get whilst living in japan--and have been eating it since I got back

Fiep is going to get some nice rolls (homemade of course) and will be one happy rodent for the rest of the week (and will have enough to share with his relatives also living with us).

but friday--need to get that dang paper written so I am officially calling friday my day to finish it (and since the hubby has the day off--he WILL get some things done around here as well--still need to put the last few things away from our trip in oct

).

and then start the holiday wrapping and xmas card writing (need a bleh emote here)....

I really dont like xmas any more....its sooo commercialized and (yep need another bleh emote here)....I like putting up decorations and driving around to see what other people have done, but parties and exchanging gifts (which for the most part came from a list) just doesnt do it for me anymore (heck anyone in my family would be able to tell you what to get me without even having to think!)....its lost the kid appeal it had --since, yep, not a kid .....

ooops sorry for the depressing blerp.....back to thanksgiving

lol You love Thanksgiving because it is the holiday for a ton of food. Of course I can't blame you because that is why I love it as well.

No Spain did not take part in WWII, nor did the quote say it did. It said we flew OVER it with planes and bombs. It did not say that they were mad because we attack them with planes and bombs. It said we flew OVER, which is probably actually accurate. Since they were neutral in WWII, they had no say in who could fly over them as long as they didn't get pulled in. So while Spain did not participate per say in WWII, the quote could very well be correct as we may have, and in all reality probably did, fly planes with bombs over them. Never said we dropped them. And yes, they could have been angered by this as they may have been afraid that this would be seen as them siding with the Allies and thus suffering Germany's wrath.

no ton of food where I am at---I only make a turkey breast some smashed spuds and another veggie (usually corn or carrots) rolls and a pie .....nothing extravagant. (no place in fridge for anything more than that) and no we dont eat until we explode either....I eat my usual portions.....so while I do like food, I dont over indulge. (and since it takes me a lot more calories to prepare some of that--rolls and pie --what ever extra I eat I already used before up).

I am more interested in the clean up efforts after the wars....have been watching the military channel about both ww1 and ww2....and the amount of destruction ---well I have been to some of the places they have shown and even though its been decades I really cant believe that it had looked that bad in the past....

We have so much food at Thanksgiving that it overflows the table so we have some on our counter-tops as well. Freaking crazy! But awesome all at the same time. Plus we have epic leftovers. Which is great.

Clean up took years and I think is probably still going on. Just the devastation that happened is crazy. I have been to Pearl Harbor and it really is humbling... To think that the devastation there is minuscule compared to what Europe experienced.

I have been to berlin, hiroshima, nagasaki, plus a bunch of other places in europe that got pretty badly bombed etc....and not including berlin ( the russians really did not do much on the aesthetic side of things) things look like a war never happened (except the memorials)....was kind of eerie walking around places in japan, especially hiroshima and nagasaki---you could just feel something in the 'air'....hard to explain....but chilling....and I was there in 03-05....50 years + past when it happened.......
