Ya, the whole moving the drinking age up to 21 seems to have done diddly squat. It seems like more teenagers now more than I can remember (I'm only 22 now, so it's not THAT long that I remember) are drinking. I know there has always been plenty of smoking but the drinking seems to have jumped a lot, at least around here. I have seen people who drank a TON until they hit 21, then they really cut back. Almost like it being 21 they feel like rebels for drinking underage. But whatever.
You have to be 18 to get into some strip joints but 21 for most.
So mini-rant (if you don't want to hear it skip the next few lines): So people, here in America, when you go to enter the door and there are 2 doors, you enter on your RIGHT!!!! The past few days I have almost ran into people because they keep trying to enter the door I am walking out of. I walk out of the door on my RIGHT and they try to walk in on the same door, then they look at me like I'm stupid. Umm sorry but you enter on your RIGHT! You know the door that is NOT IN USE?!?!?! Geez, is it that freaking hard?!?
Okay rant over.

I agree with your rant, I also hate people in grocery stores who don't keep to the left side of the aisle.

Yup, that is another thing too. People at Wal-Mart are notorious for that... Some things are just too difficult for people I guess.

No, because that is the accepted way in their country. Here the saying is
"KEEP TO THE RIGHT" and a certain percentage of our population can't understand that.

Yeah, it's confusing in the UK - "drive on the right side of the road - the left side."
Stupid historical nonsense - right side is much more logical.

Ya, as long as people keep on the correct side, no big deal.
Oh look, it's Malice Black! I knew he'd be back, he must have heard his name...

Malice only comes back for a post and disappears for a few weeks after...
I only got ID'd twice : nightclub and buying a bottle.
I'll never drive in the UK (of course I need to get my license first though xD).
I sometimes wonder what's worse : 16 y.o. drinking and smoking or 25+ y.o. drinking and smoking with 16 y.o. (and trying to pick up girls at the same time...).

I have had a few curse errors today....and some ad cant load (even though they should not be for me).....
I have been id-d a few times.....when I lived in Idaho EVERYONE at the liquor store has to show id---even the 70 year old man with white hair and age spots older than the cashier!
Now if someone asks me for an id I say 'thank you!' since if I look young enough to need to show one-------(though have not been asked in quite some time )
pwnd your avatar is the one I always see for you.....

On my screen it still looks like the Guru G... I don't know what is going on with that but I guess so long as it is what is normal for everyone else it isn't a huge deal.

Don't feel offended Azzer .
It's just that as the years pass, the "cultural" gap between people who are even only 2 years different is kind of huge (speaking for the 12-20 y.o.) so going to a party full of "look at me, I'm the prettiest QQ I drank too much and threw up on your shoes ahahahaha I want to listen to Justin Bieber" something I'll only do if I get a good reward (of course some people can be just as childish, or maybe it's a french thing xD).
Drinking in a pub/bar is different, no matter the age, that's always fun .

Hehe, i am never offended really, never. But i don't mind people acting "childish" bout it, and i don't even drink anymore. I find it fun, and we all learned it that way too, so it's no biggy for me, if you're 11 or 89 i can drink with ya. and women under 22 aren't anything for me, since they are immature, but it's fun to be those places anyway. Well, time to clean the house weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I dont drink either, but an occasional bottle of wine is nice (or a glass of bailey's)
I didnt drink much in college either, since I STILL think beer tastes awful (though we did drink some really cheap wines back then...strawberry hill???)......so I found no real reason to drink and most of the people who did drink I found I had very little in common with so no reason to go out of my way to drink with them---my crowd was not much about alcohol (can you say geeks???) so it wasnt much of a problem then, and certainly not a problem now at my age!

More drinking talk huh? Haven't much to say on the topic. People drink at college, no big deal, doesn't affect me any and they can live the way they want. I live the way I want and all is good. So yup. Nothing really to say on the drinking subject.
Damn, still shows that stupid G for me >.>
Edit: Very odd, I had to reupload my avatar to get it to show. Even when I searched my avatar on Google, the one for Guru1 when clicked on to view fullsize showed the G instead of my avatar. Almost like my avatar got corrupted some how. oO
