2 or 3 for only having one eye really isn't bad at all. Many people with perfectly good eyes have had 4 or 5 accidents at least.
Mine expires in 3 years or so apparently. Hmmmm, eye tests, not a fan. I pass them but I think they are a waste of time imo. If you don't have issues seeing, then I don't see the problem but I guess eye tests are the only way to tell for sure. Damn...

wasnt offended rr (hence the ).....
yeah not a fan of those eye tests either since most of the testers never quite understand my situation (so they keep asking me...is the dot inside or outside the box...then try the other side....its not going to change just because you changed the sides the dot and box are on, really)...so I was quite happy to get my extension without having to appear.
almost have most of the stuff unpacked, dang it takes longer to unpack than it did to pack!

If I'm not wrong, in France you never have to renew your driver's license. So every time my dad would get controlled in the US, the policeman gave a funny look because his picture is at least 20 years old xD.
I hate to unpack...I just keep using my clothes until it's almost empty.

I'd like an extension so I don't have to appear. That would be swell. lol
And that is why the French will never succeed! Blind drivers lol
Unpacking does suck, cause you have to find a place for everything. Not fun.
Well 6 hours of class then it be the weekend. So close yet so far away...

I know some people who take Thursday Friday off to use up their vacation days. Seems like a pretty good idea since Mondays always go by fast and Fridays go slow.

the age WAS 18...it was changed to 21 in 1984 ---I missed the date in Florida as they had it set on june 30th...most of the other states had july 1st as the date.....(though I seem to remember wisconsin being june as well------)
underage drinking is a very big problem in the USA thus why they moved the age limit (didnt change anything much though----except more kids getting phoney id's).....
though I think they should move the cigarette age to 21 or 25---

In France 18 y.o. is the drinking, driving and smoking age. You can drive at 16 if there's is someone in the car that already has their driver's license.
Thanks to the government you can spend some time in jail if you are 13+ (not the "real" jail, although if you keep doing petty crimes or "real" crimes, you can end up there if I'm not mistaken).
Since the countries of Europe love alcohol (beer, wine, vodka), it's not that surprising that in some countries the drinking age is 16.
Underage drinking and smoking is a big problem in France. Some kids (~16 y.o.) go to class completely drunk and between classes they can be found smoking outside.
I really if doubt moving the legal age would change anything. They just do it for the "oh look me I'm going against the law and using alcohol as a pass for doing anything" (I'll never understand the "oops sorry I was drunk/high so it was really my fault that I burned/kill/kiss/*insert whatever you want* ").
I say the best way to stop excessive drinking and such, is to raise the taxes on those products.

Let's see now.
In the UK, you can drive when you're 17, drink when you're 18 (although a lot of pubs only allow in over-21s), smoke when you're 16 (although you need to be 18 to buy cigarettes) and have sex when you're 16.
All of those are breached regularly on a massive scale :/
