The "worst" part is that before I could drink however I wanted (of course without going overboard...I stop when my brain can't place the correct word out of my mouth) but ever since I drank so much that I threw up, I've been scared to do that again and it would seems that my body too because it's like my tolerance to alcohol has lowered... (throwing up is pretty much my biggest phobia, I just hate it, even if it makes me feel better when I'm sick, I'll only throw up when I'm feeling too lousy).
Manswers is pretty funny. But sometime the questions can really really really be stupid (ie : do boobs float on the Moon ?).

sigh....just ask a lady and she will tell you, geesh.
though I dont like the show, could be because of my gender ....or I just dont like those kind of shows.
phobias...I always had the fear that tall buildings would fall on me.....and tornadoes (but dont think that is a phobia since I have been prett-y dang close to a few--and thats a few more than I ever wanted to be)....tornadoes should be feared!
my sleeppppp...neeeeed more, need to sleep when hubby is not around since his snoring wakes me or keeps me awake.....
NAP TIME!!!!

Well I have Fenryl and a lot of girl friends that'll answer pretty much any questions.
(And Fenryl loves Manswers...but I consider her a exception regarding a lot of things xD).
Mother Nature should be feared from time to time but not everyday. (Oh and I forgot, I'm sometime afraid of heights).
I'm always scared to snore, especially when I fall asleep on a plane or on the train, even if I never snore (except when I'm really really tired).
(Come to think of it I'm afraid of many little things, but I won't call them phobias).

I'm actually interested in this, Azzer, as I'm chock full 'a social phobias myself. Although maybe I'm a bit old to be sorting out a lifetime's problems...

Well, we had 1 in class who was around 38, so it's never too late to do it really!, the hardest part is actually getting into these places, as the cost is absurd. But very very very much worth it, it's like i got a second life and second personality now :P

Too many conversations for me to look at and comment on at once but I'll give it a try:
Manswers, ya, I'll watch it sometimes but like Red said, I have friends who will answer most of those questions. Plus sometimes the questions are just disturbing.
Phobias, not so much. I prefer to avoid heights and crowds but I can tackle them with little problem if I want.
Sleep sounds great. I haven't been getting enough sleep lately... Probably due to not being able to fall asleep. Oh well. Once I get tired enough then I do.
Drinking, don't drink. The end.
Classes are done for the day. Yup.

Well, all the topics are covered.
Now on to the pressing news... Who heard about the genetically-altered salmon? I am totally against it, humans should never try to act like god. Even though I love Salmon I am against manipulating animal genes, because this is just the beginning of a new branch of laws making people going back to this case.

I like coho and saukeye salmon, neither of which they are thinking about changing--the ones they do that to are already 'altered' by where they live or because they are raised on a farm--not natural.
so who heard that the recession was over LAST year????? leave it to the economists to twist the statics so that it doesnt look as bad as it really is (I love one of the responses--so now we are going to admit to the depression we are in???)

Not sure exactly what they did to alter the salmon but genetic altering is very important in feeding humans. That fish that could feed 1? Genetics can make it bigger so it will feed 2 to 3 people. Genetics makes things for the better, not the whole stupid idea of putting a cat's head on a chicken or something like that.
As far as I have heard, we were never in a recession, simply a slow economy. Bullshit.

I agree, with genetic manipulation of food, we can feed entire of Africas hungry people, and other continents too ofcourse.
The people cloning sheep are just retarded, they should clone food/fish and endangered species, so they can live on.
Poverty is another issue entirely, since Africa has gotten help since 1950, and yet it too make much progress, so so so many money have they gotten, and compared the money to the development, it just does not add up at all.
It's the greedy bastards in the politics/dictators that just rake in as much as they can, and sometimes, with little luck, the "man on the street" gets some.

Sheep are easiest, I forget why, but they are the easiest to clone due to their genome being simpler or something like that I believe. Need to get it down on an abundant species before we try it on a food source or endangered species. Politics are definitely a huge problem in the world, but without them we might have even bigger problems...

Politics and especially the Media : the two things that decides everything...
"Hmm this new invention is going to bankrupt us, let's bribe some politics and the media to make it look like something that will have terrible consequences and let's ask them to back it up with some pseudo-scientific facts"
"Hmm a disaster happened in that country...well let's ask the media to go crazy on it so that it when people will see the good things we are doing there, they will forget all the other shit we've done to them and to that country and we'll make more money/win the election/get whatever we want"
I could go on and on with example. I don't hate the media, I just hate how the politics use them to make people forget some events (ie : the political scandal in France that got overshadowed with a stupid football scandal (who cares if he told his coach "got RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO yourself you son of a bitch"...the only thing that matters is that it was one of the worst team ever...)).
Sometimes I ask myself if the end of the world would be such a bad thing. Then I laugh and realize it's just dumb thinking cause if I still have a lot of things to laugh about xD.

H2O is actually the worse greenhouse gas from what I have heard. Which makes sense considering how it has a high specific heat. EDIT: Research to back that claim up, as it appears I am correct. http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/climate/gases.html
That is also the reason cars that have a waste product of WATER or water VAPOR are not going to help the global warming cause anymore than the cars we have now. But of course everyone sees water as "Safe" because we drink it an all that jazz. But it is the most abundant greenhouse gas.
I think there are more humans that aren't corrupt then you think Azzer. Just hard to see that considering all the people the media shows usually are.

So I guess pwned is saying that the best way to have things run on is something that pollutes the air with oxygen?

The best thing would be something that has no waste product, but it would be pretty much impossible.

man made polluting, which accounts for 3-4% of the world pollution, yet plants has polluted 96-97% in like billions of years, and yet we think it's human mistake that makes these things..
So i'll say, if it "really" is pollution that causes the weather to change (yeah right) then get rid of those 96-97% plants that pollutes.
To reinforce, the weather has been ever changing since the birth of mother earth, we've had worse periods than this, and better periods, it's a cycle, that sometimes it's good, sometimes it's bad, but in the end it'll all end up going on average.
