That sucks cosy.

The worse thing we got was a water pipe breaking in our garden around 2 in the morning...Luckily my brother was awake so almost nothing was damaged (except part of the garden, around where the pipe broke). Took them a day to fix it.

I don't know cosy, sounds like a pretty wonderful place to live.

We had our septic tank fail one year. That was, umm, fun? Not so much. My brother and I broke a water pipe in the basement that the plumber then broke again after he fixed it. Good times.

Hot again today... Weather.com is calling for storms, but radar shows jacksquat coming towards us...

yes another hot day, bleh.
Yes the town I live in really has their heads up their.....
If you need a new water heater or a/c or furnace (even if its an emergency) you MUST get a permit for it .....and the office that gives out those wonderful permits works government hours (so no weekends or holidays etc)....so what happens if your furnace dies on say xmas eve and xmas is on say friday? you have to wait until MONDAY to get a permit to get a new one!!!
yup our little town has its own stupid.....welll I need not finish that if you just read that above part.

need to get this back on track

hubby is making steak for dinner with fresh corn (Ah I LOVE the summer, corn on the cob!!!)...cant wait!!!

But i got out of practice early, because it was too hot and our players aren't "conditioned" enough since it's just summer practice XD

It was 93 today again, with a heat index of 103. More of the same tomorrow. So heat, ya I understand it atm...

Practice for what again? You probably said a while back but I'm too lazy to check atm.

My guess would be football.

This week the temperature of some regions of France was 104 F. Hopefully when I'll be there it's going to be around 86.

I hope we are having pasta for dinner, and not some kind of fish...

steak was good, corn was wonderful (and had some honey carrots too, yum!).

yes more hot and humid for the rest of the week.....good thing my a/c is working *(knocks on lots and lots and lots of wood)......

We had a casserole last night... Not exactly what I was hoping for. But hey, today is Friday and at work that means pizza day!

I wish I had a/c at work. Instead I work in an enclosed environment that gets usually 10 degrees hotter than outside at times. Awesome. At least people working outside get a breeze!

seeing as we have about 7 computers and bunches of electronic equipment that dont really like hot weather....the a/c has been on since it was about 50 outside .....I live on the 3rd floor so it gets hot up here pretty quickly (and cold in the winters---still think that 'insulation' they put in the attic is NOT adequate for the job), though we have it set at 81 (the computers complain at 82) and its on a lot.

more hot weather on the way for most of the usa...sorry guys got outvoted on the rain.

We have the AC on at my house. I love coming home from work to my house. Nice and air conditioned. Lovely.

Just a summer job Red, won't get a real job until next year once I graduate college.

One of the reasons I like my room here at home is because it is on a lower floor. Keeps it cooler that way. Which is great.

lower floor would be nice right about now...just got back from my acupuncture appointment (with a stop at the store for some dinner)....need a nap now (always tired after my appointments)
having sub sandwiches for dinner (and some nice chocolate milk, yummmmmm!)

and now for the nap (and will eat the other half of my sandwich later ZZzzzzz......)

Oh I see. Been thinking about having a summer job, but with this going to France thing, it became too complicated.

I like my room because it's on the upper floor, so with the windows opened I get a cool little breeze.

the midwest is pretty much a constant--iowa, illinois indiana and ohio...get the same crappy weather for the most part, parts of lower michigan and wisconsin get some too but that swatch in the middle of the country is well....you live there you know. Hot summers with plenty of humidity and cold winters with the possibility of plenty of cold and snow! the 'best' of both worlds

ate the rest of my sandwich and had some nice mughi tea (barley)....no ideas for tomorrow though----
