we need to be smart about it. When we were faced with the acid rain problem, we dealt with it by regulating the output of acids (mostly sulfur) into the atmosphere. This costs a lot of money but we need it.
We cannot spend a lot of money on fixing something that is not a problem. I'd rather use that money to do something that really needs fixing. I agree that we need to lessen our impact on the earth but 'fixing' a CO2 'problem' because it makes us feel good to 'do something' is not the way to go. Again, there are a lot of real issues to be fixed.
And now - no more politics... Unless you would like me to continue my libertarian rant. And I can't even vote (not a US citizen)...

I think pollution is a problem, but not because of the global warming---and cars make a lot of pollution so I think getting the car fixed IS an important issue. (I am not a registered voter either, its not the voters that get things changed either, so no need to be a us citizen to make changes in this country).
ok, so new subject....
what's for lunch?

I was thinking of a steak tip salad today. Trying to cut carbs. Well, maybe I'll have a chocolate chip cookie for desert as well.

You're wrong, 96-97% pollution comes from nature, the rest is created by man, so if, and that's a big if, they wanna do something about "global warming" (which i don't believe in), they need to get rid of nature that emits all that shit that they claim is making global warming.
On a lighter note, was at the dentist monday, my tooth needs a root canal (no idea if that is correct spelling), because i had a major hole in my tooth, + all my nerves was rotten in that tooth, so the dentist are gonna give new nerves to my tooth also.
How have every one been while i've been gone?

Root canals are not fun from what I have heard. So good luck with that.

yeah humans only account for like 1% of the total green house gas emission, but thats still pretty significant ....I dont believe in the global warming scam either. But when I have to sit in traffic behind a big ole' truck belching black fumes into my car making me nauseated I start to rethink my views on car fumes and emissions! It might just be my wanting to have cleaner air when I drive, but I dont think its too much to ask.
have a doctor appointment today, hubby does too--not sure whats wrong with him...very worried about him atm....

Probably good, that sounds awfully painful and not something I want done.
Well failed my genetics quiz, oh well, school was okay. The first class I saw was absolutely wild... The kids would not be quiet no matter what I did. I think that was the first time I have ever actually got angry with a class. The second class, the one my professor came in to observe me, was perfect. I have never that class act like that. They were just as good as can be. Was a nice change.

well, my doctor didnt show up for my appointment (thought it was a different day)...so I got to go to my hubby's....she thinks it was just a bug or something, but since its been like 5 years since he had a physical and blood work and never had that male test---guess who has another doctor appointment next month??
So unless something bad happens, he is ok for now (I will still worry, that's what wives do).
made pizza for dinner, hawaiian style (I like pineapple, not so much the ham though).
pwnd you will find that each class has its own dynamic...some days they will be angels, others devils and some classes---you will never understand! (and some will never listen to what you say no matter how much you try). gambatte!

How can 1% be significant?, just asking, because 1% is extremely low, and cars don't poolute as much as you might think.
