need some sleep, for some reason I wok up and could not get back to slep so here it is 4 hours later and I am still awake,

Says that we might get rain on Sunday morning but that is it. Not much else out there. Still has 2 or 3 states to get through before it ever reaches me. Suppose to be nice and warm next week.

I need sleep too but I don't see that happening. Have to work in a little while... Oh well. And I need to study some more.

So a 250 GB/Month cap on comcast connections (like mine) has been brought to my attention. While 250 is not a problem for me ore a hell of a lot of people out there, I for one still don't like it. Whos to say they won't drop the limit lower and lower before it becomes a problem for people like me who like to get music from iTunes (even previewing costs bandwidth I might add) or stream movies from hulu? And who's to say this isn't some (small) step towards the ultra dreaded tiered restricted service? RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO you comcast.

I still say, it isn't a problem right now....but I still have the feeling it WILL become one 1, 2...5 years down the road.

Better rain then snow.

I knew Comcast was going to do that, they are money hogs. When we got switched from Insight to Comcast we lost 20+ HD channels that Insight offered with their standard cable package. With Comcast you have to pay extra for them... I hate Comcast.

I have never liked the monopoly that comcast is....I refused to get dsl with them (almost like getting dsl from the phone company!).....we knew this was going to happen more than a year ago...sorry that it finally is.

We have thought about switching to Dish but we get cable internet packaged in with our cable TV so we haven't done it. Oh well. I don't pay for it.

we have cable, but our dsl is NOT with them nor the phone company....our dsl is with a totally separate company and it shall remain that way!
in other news, got my new keyboard, though....the cord is too short since the computer is on the floor under the table and the keyboard is on the table....so we went to buy an extension only to find out it needs a special plug (the keyboard)...sigh hubby says he will pick that up on the way home (hopefully)...though my fickle kyboard is working somewhat again...I just cant win.

wnt out for dinner---italian, had tortellini yummmmm

Well they were wrong about our 1" to 3" of rain, it's now in the 3" to 6" range. This will make it the rainiest March since records (1880's) have been kept. The good thing is after it is done on Wednesday we will have nice warm weather. Well we had PAX East in Boston on Saturday and it sold out. I must live in a tin can as I didn't even know it was coming.

so I guess this means that there wont be any droughts in the usa this year....instead, floods will be the fad!
yeah its better....the new keyboard is right next to the old one---I think it knows its end is really near (both figurativeely and literally).....

now we just ned the nice warm days so I can open th balcony door again....was a bit too chilly over th weekend for me, though we did get quite a lot done.
