I do like fishing, when i have a car. It's fun, with friends.
an entire day, with no cell, or communication, and just in the wild. it's great. And the fish is tastier than sushi

Fishing is a ton of fun and it is very relaxing. I love going to Wisconsin and fishing up there. So nice just to sit there and fish with my uncle, dad and brother. Good times. And ya, no cell phones, just out on the water with not a worry but what bait to use.

I'd have to agree with ewww fish....if someone had told me 20 years ago that I would LIKE fish, I would have laughed so hard I would have needed surgery.
However, humans have been eating fish since.....well we could catch them. I am not talking about the [email protected] that almost ALL restaurants and fast food places serve (fillet of WHICH fish???? and why would I want to eat the remnants of a fish that you wont even name????). Frozen fish (in your grocers freezer section ), is just as bad or worse! Most fish lose flavor, texture and gain fishy smell etc from being frozen (incorrectly-which most tv dinners have).
FRESH fish tastes good....and humans were eating raw fish LONG before we knew about fire and we LIKED it....(as well as raw bison, sheep, goat etc).
Most people who dislike fish have had a bad experience in the past (or have eaten at mcd's and believe that that is what fish is supposed to taste like---ewwwwwwww).
As a kid, my mom tried to cook fish....tried is the key word....which is why I hated fish for so long. Today I will eat many different fishies...but I still cant handle cooked tuna to save my life (cat food anyone????).
My personal opinion is fish loses what little natural flavor it has by cooking it---salmon, tuna, yellow tail--- all taste MUCH different when raw as when cooked.
Why sushi.....ok, well it is all the asians fault for that...they live on rice and in japan ---on an island and just what is plentiful when you live on a island???? FISH....so put the 2 together and you have...sushi! (the seaweed was there to hold it altogether as they have an abundance of it as well on their islands).
Why did sushi become popular in the rest of the world???? Fish is better for you than most other meats like pork or beef, and in the nutrition crazed 90's many people wanted to eat better and sushi was exotic enough to get lots of attention too.
Now fishing.....tried it and would rather spend that time doing just about ANYTHING else.....my husband loves to go fishing, and I am still at a loss as to why....he never catches anything, you are on a boat with no wc, you get sunburned to all heck and you have to plan waay ahead for lunch (we wont mention my seasickness here)....I told him he should just get a chair and sit on our balcony... access to a bathroom, full kitchen, no sunburn and if its really really needed he could get his fishing pole out with plastic bait and set it over the railing!!! (and I would just take a nice long nap instead).
I grew up with 3 older brothers who loved to fish....northern wisconsin and up into canada were top locales for them to drag the rest of us to--my mom even had to go fishing ON HER HONEYMOON....yeah, that was probably fun (it was a few years later before they had any kids mind you).
aack...sorry pwnd. I have written more than just about everyone on this forum would read.....
lets just say, unless you have had GOOD quality sushi ---dont knock it until you have tried it.

What's tl;dr?
Fishing is nice, during summertime, especially in this spot in Canada my dad and his dad have been going to. I enjoy it, because it's just rocks, trees, water, 3 men in a boat, and fish. It really does relax me. I honestly feel that if Ohio would be Summer and Spring year-round, but not too hot (80 degrees+ is a little hot in my opinion) it'd be the perfect place to live for me. There's so much vegetation out here, and the farmland...idk I just get into those moods where it really relaxes me, being there.

That sucks azzer, sorry to hear that.
Canada has some awesome fishing spots from what I have heard. My uncle went up there and said they have some huge walleye. We are used to catching around 20 inch walleye and the biggest we have caught is 29 inch. But up there they are 35 inches or so. Craziness!

As far as anyone is concerned in here, GW is long dead.
I just got Mass Effect 2 over the weekend and I forgot I deleted my ME1 file . I'll just rush through ME2, then play more carefully when I have a ME1 account to import to ME2.

Yup, no one plays GW much anymore. Just like Racthoh stopped playing and now it auto-designated me as guild leader. >.>
Bummer Jumping, might make ME1 more interesting when you know how your choices will affect the second game.

I still play
actually there are quite a lot of people still playing, not to mention too many new people. I rarely find towns with no one there (ok some of the prophecies towns have people afking, but they are still there ).......
