There is some level of responsibility that costumers have when buying things. Anet didn't force you to buy the costumes. The information about how the costumes scale was not with-held from you. You either didn't look at what you were buying, or didn't care enough to stop typing in your card number.

The costumes fit all professions, just some better than others.

None of these match the description, as they either got boob-cups or exposed upper chest, or both.

Well I got boobs too, and I never had issues wearing "male" (actually its unisex) chainmail armor or hardened leather armor that doesnt have any special accomodation for boobs. Seen enough women wear platemail and I can only remember one out of of the 500 or so women that wears feminine armor and even that one is smart enough to wear heavy steel pauldrons and a large gorget to cover up most of it.

I kind of always get annoyed when people complain about stuff like that in a fantasy game. Yes, I can understand wanting realistic armors - my taste for warrior armor leans more towards the realistic types (Templar and Ancient are my favorites), but there's also some advantage to wearing less armor that a lot of people seem to forget about - speed and agility. Doesn't matter if you're covered less if they can't hit you, after all
Those are not realistic at all.

I'd say the only realistic female armor in the game is (regular) Canthan armor. Even though it doesnt cover the full body, it covers all the critical locations while allowing for a great deal of mobility. Would work great with a polearm due to the extra armor on the left arm. The exposed lower left thigh isn't that important if you can keep your opponent at a distance while it would be a show-stopper with a shorter weapon.

I haven't really liked any of the costumes. Not that I think they are poorly done, but just not my cup of Lapsang Souchong.

the new costumes look alike--just minor differences...and they may be the first set I dont bother to give money to anet for creating them.

and yeah, sometime a nice FREE set would be good too----

So Kurzick armor is the only set that makes sense. Big deal! Buy some Kurzick armor.

Sincerely,

Does it bother me? Not really. Do I expect something different in the future? No. After all, the publishers of fantasy books and games both have the same market in mind, the average male. Until women game players outnumber or even equal the men, nothing will change very much.
Considering how media is today I don't think the majority of women even understand what companies are trying to do when they are trying to make money out of mens most primal instict.

Also, I honestly think that the majority of women might feel there is no use to even complain. When I do, I always find myself being told I am a nazi wh0re, extreme femenist, jelous of women with humongous titties(No offence to women who do) and, you name it lol.
