I dont think its coming down soon...probably my 'when someone gets to work and does the archiving' is my bet on when its coming down.

and my sad news: my favorite restaurant closed, friends took me out for dinner last night, and there was a sign on the door ---they had closed

guess thats what I get for aging, my favorite sushi place closing (my favorite chinese place changed hands...might as well have closed, not the same without the original owners).

yeah, life telling you to never get too comfortable---and the chinese calendar said this was supposed to be a good year for me....shows what they know (or perhaps my hubbys bad year is spilling over, yeah, lets blame it on him!).

and thanks (also found out that someone I consider a friend passed away on the 30th...very sad indeed).

thanks on both points. Getting old aint no fun neither...got my aarp invite in the mail and this time I am the correct age for it (first time they sent it to me was my freshman year in college--I was 18 and the letter said "now that you have retired" I was like 'retired'? I havent even had my first job yet!)
Seems the more birthdays that pass the more friends I have to say a final goodbye to as well....it was a rather sobering (and morbid) thought I had early in the am....not the best way to start out a birthday I would have to say. dammn now I am getting depressed again....need to get this party back on track!

On most forum software there is simply a way to turn the forums on and off with the click of a mouse and a check box or drop down menu selection

As I'm not familiar with Curse and its forum management, no idea if it is that easy T1. It is probably pretty easy to just straight up wipe the site but to archive it, that probably takes a lot more.

ah, a day to sleep and listen to folks trying to blow off their hands or burn down their houses....yep, wonderful day....

Though I am enjoying the lower temps a whole lot...was sooo nice to go to see the fireworks here last night and not sweat walking there and back. (will watch the ones on tv tonight

Oh hey, we are still live here. Neat.

Lots of fireworks going off around here. Not a lot of sirens so I guess no hands got blown off, which is good.

We are getting back up to warmer temps. Possible rain over the next couple days, which would be nice.... Really nice.
